our secondairy play has been excellent all year. eric smith seems to be getting more time, and coleman has been solid against the run. if we can really add asante samuel this offseason we could be looking at a top-5 nfl secondairy.

I had been getting pretty interested in Poteat recently when it seemed that the CS was getting more comfortable with him and I wanted to read what some Pats fans felt about him now, so I did a search on patriotsplanet and:

That play on the ball by both Miller and Smith was sick.

the hit on washington was clean. helmet to helmet is somewhat allowed on a runningback..the more i watched the thomas hit the more i saw a little more of a dirty one. well he and jason taylor can have another long offseason. maybe they can talk to "Savior Saban" about winning some more meaningless games

At least that hit got some revenge for the cheap shot on Coles. Zach Thomas needs to get his someday.

Zach thomas got his yesterday, and trust me It was way worse then any poke in his eye.

Seeing the rookie rb, cutting up the entire Miami D , then shaking zach thomas out his shoes....

    Priceless.

    Good stuff.
After what Mr Hanky has been through between the Pats and the Jets I'm glad that hes been given the oppertunity by us. He could also solve another issue at the CB position , all of a sudden our secondary is looking a whole lot better.
I've always like Rashad Washington as well and was pleased with the sack he got. Eric Smith has also been solid and with Drew Coleman coming and doing way more than anyone thought , things are looking good in Jetland.

This season is just getting better and better. How ever far we go I'm going to be left feeling that this season was a HUGE success and look forward to next season with growing interest.
