http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/wide-receiver/ I don't know when this site was last updated, but according to it, following are the WRs who hadn't signed with another team. Do the names I bolded sound familiar? LOL Vincent Jackson WR 34 TB TBD Eddie Royal WR 31 CHI TBD - Stevie Johnson WR 31 LAC TBD - Andrew Hawkins WR 31 NE TBD - Marcus Easley WR 29 BUF TBD - Percy Harvin WR 29 BUF TBD - Dorial Green-Beckham WR 24 PHI TBD - Cecil Shorts WR 29 TB TBD - Jordan Norwood WR 30 DEN TBD - Marc Mariani WR 30 TEN TBD - Stedman Bailey WR 26 LA TBD - Bruce Ellington WR 25 NYJ TBD - Devin Street WR 26 NYJ TBD - Quinton Patton WR 26 NYJ TBD - Laron Byrd WR 27 CAR TBD - Eric Rogers WR 26 SF TBD - Chris Harper WR 23 SF TBD - Reginald Diggs WR 24 WAS TBD - Dennis Parks WR 23 CLE TBD - Bralon Addison WR 23 CHI TBD - Je'Ron Hamm WR 25 SF TBD - Kenny Cook WR 25 KC TBD - Shaquelle Evans WR 26 DAL TBD - Devin Hester WR 34 SEA TBD - Dez Stewart WR 24 PIT TBD - Michael Johnson WR 25 PHI TBD - Quincy McDuffie WR 27 DAL TBD - DeAndre White WR 25 NE TBD - George Farmer WR 24 SEA TBD - Andrew Turzilli WR 25 DET TBD - Greg Salas WR 28 BUF TBD According to this site, Anquan Boldin was signed by Buffalo. From that list, maybe Vincent Jackson, Jordan Norwood, Cecil Shorts or Green-Beckham?
I don't understand why in the heck the owners would want it. They have to pay and feed a bunch of guys longer than they need to or would have had to, and it hurts teams with their prep. The stupidity of rich men never fails to surprise me.
Yeah, I looked it up. Forgot about that. Charges were dropped, maybe he paid her off. Don't see anywhere what actually happened tho. Seems like a nice fella, I've seen him in several interviews. Hopefully he changed, and sincerely made amends to her, and gains redemption, imo.
Not to be looked at as me condoning domestic violence, but there is a world of difference between grabbing a girls ankle, pulling her off a bed and beating the shit out of someone.
From what I recall, it was in a hotel room and maids saw it and called the police. I'd have to search for it but it was something along those lines
I don't either. Maybe add a date to keep a few additional players who are on the bubble but with the CBA reducing practice there are just not enough reps as it is. Better teams will decide on their roster sooner others will try to find a hidden gem and suffer for it.
This team is dumb as shit. Sign DGB and trade Richardson for a WR. We probably could have had Cooks for Richardson and a 5th.
Rumor is the eagles could be open to trading jordan matthews for the right price. he's 25 and on the last eyar of his rookie deal. they are cash strapped and will likely look to keep jeffrey (1 year deal if healthy) and smith (1 year deal plus 2018 option) and agholar is too cost prohibited to move and a former high pick. I wouldn't mind seeing if we can land matthews for a late pick like a 3rd or 4th. he could fit into the rebuilding scheme and would provide instant experience for us and likely start. ID how anyone can be comfortable with a young growing QB who's starting WRs are 1 year in the league as a 7th rounder and a UDFA, 2 rookies behind them, and oft injured bust cast away form chi, and a bunch of camp fodder. I think mac needs to look at bringing in someone in light of this. I'd also still take a flyer on DGB personally, and if need be maybe 1 year a vet and kick the tires, maybe royal jackson or johnson. all 3 are injury risks and older though
This is a real shame. Enunwa was in a contact year and we were about to find out if he could be a legit #1 WR.
he'll sign a 1 year deal next offseason at moderate money and we'll find out then. hopeful 217 shows our GM we need to focus on offense. land a QB (if hack doesn't pan out) and a WR or 2 high. Ideally landing donald or rudolph and in the 2nd maybe st brown or calloway. or we can trade our 2nd and move up if someone like cain or kirk start falling. of course a lot can change in the rankings before the draft but i still think QB and WR should be picks 1 and 2 regardless and in that order. then use the rest of the draft to fill in o-line, TE, RB, plus we need to land some free agents. I don't see many good WRs being available via free agency though and QBs never are
I'll admit when I predicted the Jets having a good team and a good season Q was a big part of that. Now I don't know what to think. Is Mason available? Looks like Macc will be doing some stone flipping this week.
I'm gonna wait a bit to see how this shakes out before making any more predictions....just glad this happened BEFORE I plunked down $500 on the Jets. I'll be in Vegas last week of August and hope there's enough to go on by then....
