I'd love to know who was the last player responsible for 32 TD's in less than 2 full seasons that was considered a "gadget" player, as opposed to a highly valuable offensive weapon.....
The same guys that has played less than 50 snaps all season. If he is such an amazing weapon, then why is he riding pine? Why is his market value a 4th round pick and sinking like a rock? Serious question: Will Tebow be a starter somewhere next year?
It's because Rex isn't trying to win even though his job depends on winning. All he cares about is Mark Sanchez.
Yep, it certainly looks that way and the Jets have the losses to prove it. See my sarcasm works just as well as yours. SF
Granted, we haven't been here long enough to en masse a very large grab bag. Down here we have a saying though that " one Aw Shit will cancel out a ton of Atta Boys". "Butt Funble 2012" was that one "Aw Shit" to your grab bag.
I'm still not sure why the Tebowners think that those pointing out his market value and him sitting behind a shitty QB DOESN'T mean Tim Tebow isn't that good of a QB. they called it, "lazy thinking." Traded for a half eaten ham sandwich. Riding pine. Being used as punt protector. Sitting behind a QB who loses. Not allowed to throw on 80% of his plays... lead league in three and outs last year. Really poor 3rd down conversion rate. still has a CAREER pass completin percentage below 50%. What about ANY of that suggest's Tebow is a good QB?
Look at is this way CC, he's always got a gig in the circumcision game to fall back on. I'm sure those third world folks appreciate being force fed western religion, and having their kids sliced and diced by an untrained surgeon.
Obi Wan once thought as you did... Seriously though. If I lived in a third world country and someone came along to hack off the tip of my penis in the name of religion... I'd probably get a little cranky. Never understood that concept to begin with...
My wife, my son, the rest of my family, and my friends are all the salvation I need, friend. I haven't had, or needed, an imaginary friend since I was in elementary school. And even if I did, I certainly wouldn't choose one that thinks that slavery, murder and rape, human sacrifice, and genocide are A-OK. But thanks for the offer.
These aren't cherry-picked at all. The first 4 of these items are not in Tebow's control. Just sayin'. That's like me saying Tom Brady didn't win rookie of the year... what a loser. Well, he wasn't on the field by coaches decision. Not his fault.
Actually the first 4 were absolutely in his control: play better and look like the future and the Broncos dont trade him, barring that choose the team with the best chance to play (jax) barring that show yourself to be so valuable that riding pine or being used as a PPP is ridiculous. So yes they were in his control. You just like to blame everyone but tebow for his problems. Brady didnt win the ROY because he didnt show enough to EARN THE RIGHT TO PLAY!
Hold up, son. I never blamed anyone else, I just said it wasn't in his control. BTW, I agree with you about Brady, but the point I was arguing against is that just because Brady didn't earn the right doesn't mean he sucks or wasn't good enough to play. Your points would work in a scientific lab and/or controlled environment. However, there are feelings and shit involved.
So if Tebow isn't to blame, and other people aren't to blame, the thing we are blaming is "feelings and shit?"
