Elijah Moore Requests a Trade

This from a guy always preaching about god's plan? He should pray for a trade and see how that goes.

 

Another good thing for us, his value is high and a rookie contract. I’d trade him for a first or an elite defender or OL

 

21 catches with Flacco at QB, 7 with Zach. Clearly the problem is short QB + short WR, they can't see each other.
(Before some of you lose your minds, it's a joke!)

 

Its more real than a joke. Zach has never had any chemistry with Moore.

 

The issue is ZW? The guy is 3-0. Is it his job to win or to satisfy players? I know, lets just bench Garrett Wilson and play Moore as much as possible. Wait, maybe we should bench Corey Davis. Wait, lets do anything we can to satisfy this guy so he can collect a bigger paycheck. Now thats an idea!

 

Play me or trade me as if he's in any position to make demands, haha, c'mon. He's one step above practice squad material and he's all I'm the Duke of New York, I'm A Number 1. These guys make me laugh.

 

He just shot his value in the foot. He's basically saying "I'd rather have more receptions and lose, than less receptions and win." What team wants a guy like that?

 

I'm not saying its right or wrong. I'm saying the people that don't understand why he would want to leave are not considering Moore doesn't have faith in his future earnings with Zach at QB.

I believe Berrios has been on the limited practice list the past two days. I think it's a back problem.

 

He's mistaken Joe Douglas for the President of the United States.

He's probably complaining because he wants to play in the slot rotation. To be honest..he's right...why not put Davis and Mims on the outside, and rotate Moore/Wilson in the slot, the same way we rotate Breece/Carter at the RB1?

Sometimes, they are on the field at the same time, and sometimes not. It's worked so well in the RB position.

 

Which teams would be interested in Moore? Greenbay, NYG, and KC come to mind

 

A contender that wants a rookie contract. Could see chiefs, giants, etc go after him. Wouldn’t mind trading Elijah for say Evan Neal? Or something.

 

That's definitely an approach that many teams had wished they'd followed earlier rather than later.

 

This is a good test for the Jets new culture and locker room. Hopefully, CJ, Zach, Davis, and more will sit down with him and talk things out. If people are upset it is better to address it and talk about it. It is a shame it went public but it is an opportunity for everyone to talk it out and become closer as a team. Hopefully Moore is willing to talk and listen. In the mean time more targets for Berrios.

 

A week on the inactive list with Mims sounds like a good initial response from Joe Douglas. Would be great to see Berrios get some more time in with the offense.

 

Bears and Saints are the first two that come to mind.

But supposedly the Jets never shopped Mims. So we may not field any offers for Moore.
