If you want to get taken advantage of on every trade you could cut or trade any player as soon has he makes a similar statement. But if the Jets happen to resolve it with Moore staying and becoming a productive member of the team, then they look much better than a FO that acquiesced to the demands of a whining player.

Moore may have been wrong to take it public but I can't discount that these players need the touches to increase their value. This is their livelihood and many only have a short shelf life needing to make as much as they can, when they can. My hope would be that some of the leaders on the team had a talk with him, of course I am sure the coaches have already had a similar talk.

Courtland Sutton signed a 4 year, $60,800,000 contract with the Denver Broncos, including a $6,000,000 signing bonus, $34,900,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $15,200,000. In 2022, Sutton will earn a base salary of $1,500,000 and a restructure bonus of $10,500,000, while carrying a cap hit of $5,325,000 and a dead cap value of $30,800,000.

Hunter Renfrow signed a 2 year, $32,329,000 contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, including a $9,180,000 signing bonus, $21,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $16,164,500. In 2022, Renfrow will earn a base salary of $1,000,000, a signing bonus of $9,180,000 and a roster bonus of $629,000, while carrying a cap hit of $3,543,987 and a dead cap value of $14,578,987.

Cry me a fucking river on the wage earning front, a bog standard WR3 or 4 has gotten 21m guaranteed on a two year deal, if Moore was sticking with the Jets they would have known his worth and he would have been paid ample amounts of cash regardless of his 'figures' so no need for these shenanigans tbh

All it says to me is Moore is more likely to take the cash, put it in his man bag and go through the motions on the field.

Both of those guys had 1000 yard seasons on the rookie contract.

I'd like to keep Moore but IMO its too dangerous. We can't afford distractions, and IMO Moore's numbers will be a weekly distraction in the receiver room going forward. And we really cant afford another meltdown before a game with playoff implications. Moore is now in a category that suggests another outburst will happen, sooner or later.

And, I REALLY wouldn't like benching Moore and getting nothing for him. We're a football team, not life counselors. We have considerable value wrapped up in Moore and we need to get it back. Also, the "high integrity guys/positive vibes only" philosophy is being challenged. The CS needs to back up their talk and remove the affliction. I'm positive were there are several great offers available.

The kid had a moment. It is up to his teammates and the coaching staff to decide if he is a distraction or an asset.

I remember Saleh and MLF making a big deal about how Moore and G. Wilson were interchangeable and that gave them great flexibility. I never agreed with that perspective. I thought the Jets needed another big WR. That's why I wanted Burks instead of G. Wilson. I love G. Wilson now, but I can't help but wonder if Moore would be unhappy if we had taken Burks instead of G. Wilson. Burks and Moore are two entirely different types of WR and would have been complementary of each other, whereas with Moore and G. Wilson being identical, they are competitive against each other.

I love the way Saleh continues to support Moore during his pressers. Never a misstep, alway upbeat. A lesser manager would let something slip and the media would have a field day.

When EM dances into the endzone Sunday the place will go nuts and all will be well.

NIce in theory, but with the scarcity of topnotch OL in the NFL, especially OTs, I seriously doubt if anyone is going to trade a starting-caliber OL for a troubled WR.

Its good to see this. Hopefully this is the end of any drama until the offseason. I'm sure it'll reappear if Moore continues to be disappointed in his targets.

Credit to the coaching staff on this one, seems like it was handled very maturely.

His perspective is wrong vis-a-vis the team, as no one there is persecuting him, but a lot of people in the media and fanbase have been trashing Moore, so I can understand why Moore thinks that he is being persecuted. Just because he may be mature in some ways, is very talented and competitive, doesn't mean that he's mature in every way or all that bright.

In a discussion about a player posting daily devotionals, it kinda is the place, if you're religious then I'm sorry but I'm not a believer.

No one is going to trade a quality OL to us. I don't know why some of you guys think that will happen. Have you only been watching the NFL for 2 minutes? Quality OL are scarce, particularly, OTs. After JD's moves, we had one of the deepest OLs in the NFL. Few teams have the kind of depth where they can trade us a quality OT.

If he dogs it on Sunday, he deserves the full wrath of the fanbase, media and teammates, as well as his agent, because no one will want to trade for a whiny, selfish, disgruntled player who dogs it on the field.

Garrett, will be and is better than Moore, there are zero doubts about the special talent he has, compared to Moore.

"Dapping each other up" is healing? It sounds more like criticizing each other to me.
