Election Day Poll: Jets vs. Prez

Well I guess we should move this thread there because it does open up the subject. But I will stay away from further debate. Anyone who studies politics at all knows what I just stated is accurate. If you believe in those things vote Democratic. I don't, so I'll vote Republican. But you can't really argue which side supports what.

So I could vote Jets, I went and voted for the opposite candidate. Now if my guy loses, I really win and the Jets go to the playoffs. Win-win

NY is still celebrating a Jets superbowl win 40 years later. Playoffs / Superbowl are much more important to this town that a meaningless figurehead who rules over a bunch of idiodt in fly-over states accross the country. Mayor of NY is much more important than Prez, and King Bloomberg has that covered, forever.

my presidential candidate winning does not makes me relieved, not happy.

I went with the Jets. 8 lossing seasons doesn't compare to 40.

 

I went with the Jets. We've had different presidents over the years and they haven't affected my life much at all. The Jets have.

 

If it was a superbowl appearance rather than a wildcard loss I would have taken the Jets.

i picked the jets goin to the playoffs cuz our country's screwed either way. At least with the jets i'll have some happiness whereas mccain and obama don't make me particularly happy no matter who wins.... though i did barely vote for obama.
