Don't know about the draft but the team looks a lot better defensively on the front 7 with or without Gholston and if he can come in and create some havoc in passing situations we should be a much better team.

I still think the OL is thin and weak and we need Clemens to make a huge step up to be a playoff contender but the overall talent on this team is far better than at this time last year and just having Harris and Revis starting and leading from day 1 makes us a much better defensive team.

If the offseason , the Jets added two starting OL - Faneca and Woody. They also added a very good OL coach and one of the best blocking FBs in the NFL. The run blocking is going to be much improved and pass blocking will also be better. With a running game and more time to throw, the offense will improve no matter who the QB is.

They got the NT they have needed for years. With Jenkins, Harris, and another full year from Pouha, the run defense might actually stop somebody this year.

They added two new OLB in Pace and Gholston, which should improve the pass rush. And an improved run defense and a pass rush will mean the defense might get off the field with some three and outs and , hard as it is to believe, some turnovers. This will also help the offense, which faced long fields and fewer possessions the last two years because the defense was so terrible.

Six potential new starters and a year of maturity for Ferguson, Mangold, Clemens, Harris, and Reavis has me excited. No sarcasm here, just for the record.
