Tired of them drafting studs on defense and crap on offense, last draft there were quite a few great TE's that we could have drafted as well as better O-linemen. They invested so much on the D-line and go on the cheap on the o-line what kind of bullshit is that. Then they fucking expect their QBs to perform well? You have to fucking score!! You have to fucking score!! You have to fucking Score!! What's with this short bus type of fucking thinking? Can't have ingredients made of shit and expect a steak dinner. Bunch of dumb fucks!!!!

The JETS didn't need to take a CB at #9 to replace Revis last year when they were on the board but Milliner was the BPA and look at how that turned out when the JETS were better off picking an offensive player.

If you need a WR, you draft a WR and another one for good measure.

Mediocrity is drafting a guy that has the measurables and potential and never played that well in college early in the first three rounds and expecting him to be great. Or taking tackles and switching them to guard like the JETS did with Ducasse and Winters smh when they could just draft a freaking guard that played the position before.

The NFL agreed with the Jets. The next WR taken after the 8 pick didn't go until the 27 pick. The next offensive playmaker to go was Tyler Eifert on the 21.

You cannot reach for Kyle Brady on the 9 pick because you need a TE.

Both of these moves do look a bit like trying to be the smartest guy in the room instead of the most effective.

They will need to replace Holmes, Get a true #1 TE, a true weapon in the backfield, Hill isn't the guy so another big body receiver. Kerley and a tru #1 would be nice.

Now they will have money so they can get stuff in the draft and in FA.

They also need to fix their corners and safety.

I think it's okay to draft based on need when necessary. Right now we're set on the dline for the next 10 years. If you do draft dline players it should be 5th-7th round projects to develop. Right now we have glaring needs at QB, WR and TE on offense and OLB and FS on defense. We need to attack these positions of need.

Four promising quarterbacks later (two who still have promise), when is it going to get through that the NFL is not a one player game?

I'd consider drafting another QB near the top as well. Geno & Simms can compete with them for the spot. We could have all the WRs in the world, if we don't find that franchise QB, it won't matter. This draft should be all offense except maybe an OLB / safety.

If we draft another DE or DT early in this passing offense draft, I will officially turn in my fan card haha. I'm just happy we didn't end up with Blackmon a couple years back. At least Hill is on the field. And yeah, I'm still bitter about Buffalo purposely trading picks with the rams to screw us and take Tavon Austin. Imagine him and Geno back together in the NFL? That could have been huge. We need to draft offensive weapons. It's been too long.

Get rid of Ryan, Sanchez, Holmes, and Ferguson. Draft WR, TE, QB, and S.

It's also what happens when you constantly overpay players and guarantee them ridiculous salaries. Because of the Sanchez contract (and other contracts) we lost Dustin Keller, Darrelle Revis and Laron Landry. You don't lose players of that caliber and get better. You can't blame anybody but Tannenbaum for that regardless of your hate for Rex.

If the guy you draft is a stud at a non need position...you must have other studs in place. Trade one of the known studs for what you need and save money by playing the young stud.
