What an embarassment would this be, if the Jets lose to Matt Cassel and co.? I mean, fucking MATT CASSEL!!
I would almost prefer to be the underdogs. But honestly the line really shouldn't mean much to anyone, the Jets just have to bring their A game and shut down the Pats.
Favre is 9.5 points worse than Brady. A win by the Patriots this week would be so sweet. I'm expecting at least 2 picks out of Favre. That 4th down TD would have been picked by any other team in the league. The Jets will be playing a seriously motivated team and I'll gladly take the points. Should be a very emotional game.
are we wearing the titans jerseys for this game? i think i remember reading that in the offseason but i dont actually remember.. just curious
Even without Brady the Pats are still going to be a tough team to beat. I wouldn't place a bet on this game.
Nah, they postponed the wearing of the Titan jerseys. No Titan unis during the home opener. God, I hate those uniforms.
Don't you love just how big Jet fans are talking after they almost losing to a 1-15 team? You even have some of these fools running around telling eachother the phins are really much better team this year.
Until you can speak proper English, or maybe not use a fucking smilie for every sentence, no one will ever take you seriously.
I've yet to see a three point spread. Biggest in favor of the Jets I've seen is 2.5. Some of the current spreads are down to Jets +1 or +2.
The mere fact that we are favored at home should be something to savor. Like it seems like forever since that has happened against NE - even with them as the visiting team.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. Just observing. My, admittedly limited, understanding of betting lines is that at this point in the week the line is moved based upon dollar volumes. So, the dropping line indicates that the vast majority of money is coming in for the patsies right now. Hrmmmm, if only someone knew that Brady was going to get hurt and could get the Jets+7 line....
I don't think they set odds until after Sunday's game. I think it started at Jets +3. And, yes, I certainly could rationalize why people would be tempted to put money down on the Pats to cover.
