Tebow was there for the 2 extra points. When he couldn't score in the preseason he had to go and so did Chip's plan for always going for 2 after a TD.

Ruston Webstor, or whoever replaces him in Tennessee?

Maybe Chip really is crazy like a fox lol, he could wind up there and with Mariota after all.

The guy would be sitting around at 15-0 this year if he only played the right quarterback.

I think Chip can be a very good coach in this league, but he will need to change big time. He can't gain the respect of the players in the locker room.

NFL assistants and staff are allowed to start interviewing Sunday (at midnight I believe?). I guess that explains the timing. Gives them time to check out the college route before starting interviews with NFL coaches.

No that's where Rex is headed next. Miami is where you go when you retire or get fired. LOL.

I think there's a good chance Texas see this and changes their minds on Charlie Strong and Chip Kelly ends up at Texas. Texas A&M is even a possibility albeit a longer shot. Kelly would be a perfect fit at Texas. Pretty much every high school in Texas runs the spread offense, I swear its in the state's core curriculum. He would have his pick of anyone at UT and they pay more than NFL anyway

There's a lot of things he should have been fired for.

Releasing DeSean Jackson and getting nothing for him
Trading Nick Foles (Who admittingly wasn't that good and only had one fluke season) a fourth round pick, AND a sixth round pick...for Bradford (Who isn't good either) and a fifth. So basically gave away a draft pick to swap shitty QBs.
Trading LeSean McCoy. McCoy knew Chip was a fraud and Chip decided to discredit him by trading him and making him look to be a disgruntled traded player.
    Tebow. Enough said there.

It was just one questionable move after another, none of which did ANYTHING at all to make his team better.

Kudos to Loria firing him when he did. Some owners would have given the bum an extension

why fire Kelly now with only a game to go, other than it being a desperate PR move?

giving Kelly personnel control, while allowing a guy like Gamble to walk was a huge mistake by Lurie.
i think ownership needs to take a look at themselves over there as well.
