I did like Lowery when he was a Jet, but I never saw him as more than an average NFL player. He was drafted by the Jets which raises his value to me personally. I would gladly welcome him back - but whose roster spot is in jeapordy if he returns.
llllllllowery time, he had the highest snaps playedik 6 ratio in the league that year he got his pik 6, yes i am a statistics guru and completely make up these retarded stats as CBS and FOX does during games
I always liked Lowery. He'd bring some good depth into the secondary. I'd totally sign him. If Allen comes back on time from the injury, great. If not we at least have a backup and player that knows the system well.
Him and Landry back there would be a very solid pairing. Not great but decent, with Allen and Jarrett rotating in. I dont get the Landry hate, the guys been very solid this year. He's also been asked to play out of position. If the Jets added Lowery and moved him back to his natural position of Strong Safety i'd expect him to play even better.
Asomugha is about to go on waivers. I actually think he'd be a good safety with the zone-skills he has. If Allen is out, that's the guy to go for.
Holy balls, Rex could resurrect Nnamdi, or atleast squeeze whats left out of him. I really hope we claim him
Antonio Allen got banged up last game, couldn't hurt to take Lowery back since he's been here before.
Now THAT would be an interesting pickup, especially considering that we wanted him 2 years back. He's a solid guy, but coaches don't play him to his strengths, kinda like throwing Revis into zone coverage. If we can put him back in a one on one coverage guy, it could work out well.
