I am based around the area, this is concerning. I did not hear the explosion when it happened. Was with the wife at Little Italy for the San Gennaro festival downtown. Hopefully this thing on 27th is nothing.

NY1 is best coverage for this...CNN has been a disaster along with Fox. So they just showed a guy who was there on 23rd and he had his phone footage of him going to people...They showed blood on shocked people and showing the guy asking people if they were ok. There were women bleeding and then some women who had NAILS AND SCREWS inside their skin. Fucking shit, this may be one of those homemade devices...Guys I am like a few blocks from 27th...If I hear anything I will let you know.

De Blasio said the blast was “an intentional act” and tried to calm any fears among nervous New Yorkers, saying the explosion had no terrorist connection and wasn’t related to a pipe bomb explosion earlier Saturday in New Jersey at a charity run. How would this buffoon know that this was not a terrorist act just a couple of hours after the explosion?
They already said its not terrorism related at this time at the press conference. Or to be direct, Islamic terrorism. Because that is what we all refer to terrorism these days it seems. But from 23rd street to 27th...it seems like it could be the same person or a prank. Still insane either way, and the location on 27th is really a quiet area compared to 23rd and 6th/7th
But how do they know just a few hours after it happened? I am fairly certain they haven't found whoever planted it there, then how do they know it's not related to Islamic terrorism?
Even if the person that planted the bomb is wearing an "Allah makes my dick hard" t-shirt when the FBI (who probably interviewed him a week ago) arrests him, the media and powers that be will not consider this a terrorist act. And the same people will trash law enforcement officers in this country. Welcome to Hillary's America.
Meanwhile multiple people got stabbed in a Minnesota mall. Apparently the suspect made references to Allah and asked people if they were Muslim before attacking them. The suspect was shot and killed by an offduty cop.
I literally work down the block from where it happened. I was talking to a couple of customers at my bar when we all hear a loud boom go off nearby. It was awful, everyone freaked out and it took a while for everyone to settle down.
