That top pic looks like a prison but nice pics. Ireland is in my top 3 destinations in Europe I'd like to visit.

Real story. My son and I are debating how to go to Dublin train station for our visit to Belfast. Trying to figure out thru our app on the phone. A guy with his 2 daughter stops us and tells us both of us are wrong and we should head to that particular street. Every moment we had, we saw a kindness. You now have an Ireland ally where I will tell kindness of Irish people all the time.

I was there in January. It was an interesting tour. Too many young men were executed there.

Never been to Ireland but I've been to Scotland. The people there were super friendly as well. I did a trip counterclockwise around the country starting in Edinburgh. I went with a guy who has been to Ireland several times and said they were very comparable. You might want to check out Scotland.

Greece usually means some time in Athens for most people. Fortune magazine says the best hotel bar in the world is on the rooftop of the Grand Bretagne Hotel there. The view of the Acropolis at night from the rooftop is amazing, the bartenders are good and it's Greece so prices are not as high as you would expect.

That's you in a nutshell (or in Brook's as it were)...

Capital idea Brook. Speaking of 'capital' you & your new Irish bride could honeymoon there on a beer budget; i.e. the Scots (to put it politely) are a tad 'thrifty'. Or put it this way:

Q: how do you break up an angry Scottish mob?
    A: take up a collection.

Is the Irish beer better over there? Or is it the same stuff we drink?

I don't drink Irish beer here in USA. Just Guinness sometimes. And Guinness taste was the same. :)
