Did you ready my response? I justified a statement he made about my opinion of the Coach, and agreed that the Chathum signing is fine if you think he will be a backup. I again said that I don't like the fact that certain posters (not on this thread) think it was a great signing because they think he is a starter.

Why is Catham a bum again? Because he did not start? He was on a team with a great LB corp so he did not start. But he stood out on STs. And if you knew anything like football the way you say you do, you would know a SB leave team has depth, has great ST play, and is filled with guys like Catham. You call him a bum and castoff for no reason. He is not a sexy, big name free agent like you probably want us to sign, but he is a solid signing. He is young and shown alot of upside. I want guys like that. I want us to have some depth so we are not 1 injury away from a losing season anymore. You say you want the FO to build for the future and not 1-2 year signing of vets. Well they did that with Catham and you are still bitching.
Read it again. If I posted a thread that I would feel differently about 5 minutes later, than what kind of fan would I be? Again-- this is mostly opinion based-- and if I make a post, I obviously feel strongly about it. Why would I all of a sudden take a different stance because of someone elses opinion? I can, and have learned from other posts, but when it comes to my post, I will not change my stance. Why would I have posted it in the first place if I didn't feel strongly?

Well to ignore the crap posts in between, and basically ignoring the Chatman comments because he is just going to be at best a role player, this board as gone overboard with the Mangini blind love, now I am not saying he is not going to do well, because I think he can do very well, but sometimes it seems that the paper he wipes his ass with gets worshiped here because it comes from Mangini, now I think it is great that we got under the cap but I want to see how he builds this team, and how they perform before I start prolclaiming him the next great coach

Well, if anyone would make a football point- maybe I would be able to learn!! Instead, everyone here is trying to make me a better person. Again-- if you read what I said-- why would I change my stance if I just posted it? Maybe someday I will if anyone ever writes anything related to football.
First of all, who are you to keep anyone here "in check?" You are not my mother, father, wife, brother, friend, or anything else. Take your ego elsewhere. OF COURSE, he is a good signing. He is good for back-up, ST, and he is still young. He is a possible starter that will be here for a while. His contract is not that big and incentive laden, which means he will not hurt against the cap. PLEASE tell, if this is not a good signing, then is it bad? You have an ego the size of a buick. Wow. How do you know what anyone here does or doesn't know about a player?
How can you have learned from any posts here when you've stated NUMEROUS times that there's nothing anyone on this board can teach you about football? By the way, I purposefully ignored the rest of your post just the way you ignored the rest of my earlier post. And maybe you should read more of my posts, because I post about football all the time.
What a surprise the first person you write a positive response to, is someone who shares your opinion. That is what you are looking for? For people who think like you do? That do not have different opinions? Someone to kiss your ass? Just talk to yourself in a mirror then, why the hell post here? I have wrote many things I disagree with you football related, and there have been others. You just choose to ignore them because they don't share you opinion.
