Would be estatic with a draft like this. Addresses the biggest needs on offense while going BPA throughout. Our offensive line is set for the future and we get our missing play maker in Lee.

This thing has turned into a game of who can get the better score by having players who... don't seem to be falling that far in most people's drafts than it is about smart drafting players that do. Kind of like a Madden draft, really.

Boring crap, but I guess it beats having to sift through 500 separate mock drafts in this forum to find a good thread.

Eh, every year a player or two falls that no one expected to fall. Last year had Te'o falling, some had him ranked as a top 10-15 draft pick, a few had him as a top 10, he fell to the 2nd. The game just rewards you score wise for finding and drafting the fallers, it is after all set up as a game to get the best value, not necessarily the best player.

I'm talking about people consistently having these sim drafts where a top 10 player falls to 18, a first round player falls to the Jets second round position, a second round prospect falls to the third, all in one draft - it's kind of fishy.

But whatever, like I said, it's avoiding a lot of worthless mock drafts in this forum and allowing better conversation, so it's probably worth it.

Thing you have to remember is a top 10 player doesn't fall every time, in fact in my experience a top 10 player falls to #18 in about 1 in every 7-10 drafts I run. Now top 11-15 players fairly frequently will fall to 18. A first round player will often make it to the 18th pick of the 2nd round, about 1 in 3 drafts or so, but it's almost always someone who's graded as a tweener or someone who could go in the first or 2nd. I think only 2 or 3 times out of hundreds of drafts has a very solid 1st rounder fallen that low and usually it's a WR that falls as other players were "over drafted".

People often only post the drafts they run where a top talent falls to 18, which means they probably have run a at least 5-6 drafts prior to the one they've posted, on average of course.

I've run probably 500 or so drafts over the past few months (not just as the Jets, the Browns are fun because of their picks, so are the Rams). I've yet to have a draft where I've gotten all the players I really wanted from top to bottom without seriously reaching in the middle rounds.

This thing is probably less accurate than the average mock drafter on this site, and that's saying something. 9 out of 10 drafts done with this are probably garbage, maybe that sounds harsh but it's true. I get the appeal but after 1 draft I knew it was totally unrealistic, and after the second I was 100% sure. All the people can do one and post it but there really is no point in discussing them because they are so dreadfully inaccurate.

You made the silly mistake of trying to create a great draft! I'd be overjoyed with that draft in real-life.

The score seems to based around value more than anything - high scores come from selecting guys that shouldn't be available at that pick (and address a need not already fulfilled)
