My best daft so far score wise and I like it a lot despite the heavy special teams and lack of defence.

    This is... a monster draft:

Round 2 Pick 1 (HOU): Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington (B+)
Round 2 Pick 17: Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt (A-)
Round 2 Pick 20 (ARI): David Yankey, OG, Stanford (A)
Round 2 Pick 22 (PHI): Ahmad Dixon, SS, Baylor (B+)
Round 2 Pick 25 (S.D.): Kyle Van Noy, OLB, Brigham Young (A)
Round 2 Pick 30 (N.E.): Adrian Hubbard, OLB, Alabama (B+)
Round 2 Pick 32 (SEA): Keith McGill, CB, Utah (B-)
Round 3 Pick 5: Davante Adams, WR, Fresno State (B+)
Round 3 Pick 13 (S.F.): Jackson Jeffcoat, DE, Texas (A)
Round 3 Pick 16: Morgan Moses, OT, Virginia (B+)
    Round 3 Pick 23 (K.C.): Ka'Deem Carey, RB, Arizona (A)
Round 4 Pick 1 (HOU): Terrence Brooks, FS, Florida State (A-)
Round 4 Pick 15: Josh Mauro, DE, Stanford (A)
Round 4 Pick 24 (K.C.): Jeremiah Attaochu, OLB, Georgia Tech (B+)
Round 5 Pick 1 (HOU): Craig Loston, SS, LSU (A)
Round 5 Pick 14: DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville (B)
Round 6 Pick 19: Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia (A)
Round 7 Pick 18: Kirby Van Der Kamp, P, Iowa State (A)

    ==================================================

    1. I missed out on Dion Bailey. Got Terrence Brooks as a compensation.
    2. KVN, Adrian Hubbard and Attaochu - along with Pace and Barnes, they will grow into the rotation of good OLBs
    3. Josh Mauro/Jackson Jeffcoat - I felt Jets needed to get some depth along the DL. I would have preferred if Coples stayed a DE, so at least one can be taking a breather. This helps a lot come 4th quarter.
    4. A slew of WR picks: I thought I picked more than 3 -_-! Just enough.
    5. Ahmad Dixon and Craig Loston - Well. I thought I didn't pick Dixon when I drafted Loston. Oh well. I couldn't believe Loston lasted through 5th round either. Had to grab him.
    6. Got some OL help - Yankey and Moses. And I didn't use garbage picks to get them either.
    7. CB is my only regret - good ones went off the board so fast.

Not my best draft score, but it is by far the best draft I think in terms of players and there were limited trade downs in this one, I traded down once in the first, once in the 2nd and once in the third.

Your score is: 4028 (Drafting Ability: B, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 28 (CAR): Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington (B)
Round 2 Pick 20 (ARI): Gabe Jackson, OG, Mississippi State (A-)
Round 2 Pick 28 (CAR): Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt (A)
Round 3 Pick 5: Ahmad Dixon, SS, Baylor (A)
    Round 3 Pick 16: E.J. Gaines, CB, Missouri (A)
Round 3 Pick 28 (CAR): Dee Ford, OLB, Auburn (A-)
Round 4 Pick 15: Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss (A)
Round 4 Pick 20 (ARI): Charles Sims, RB, West Virginia (A)
Round 4 Pick 28 (CAR): Brandon Linder, OG, Miami (Fla.) (B)
Round 5 Pick 14: DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville (B)
Round 5 Pick 20 (ARI): Justin Britt, OT, Missouri (B+)
Round 6 Pick 19: Hakeem Smith, SS, Louisville (A-)
Round 7 Pick 19 (MIA): Kirby Van Der Kamp, P, Iowa State (A)
    Round 7 Pick 29 (N.E.): De'Anthony Thomas, RB, Oregon (B+)

Last one I'm going to post from this, unless I set a high score ;)

But aside from the fact I think there's almost no chance of Matthews being there post combine I think this is a very realistic draft, I think I only traded down 3 times, once in the first, once in the 3rd and once in the 7th.

It's also a draft that if we had I'd be very very happy with.

Your score is: 3994 (Drafting Ability: B, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 22 (PHI): Jace Amaro, TE, Texas Tech (B)
Round 2 Pick 17: David Yankey, OG, Stanford (A)
Round 2 Pick 22 (PHI): Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt (A)
Round 3 Pick 7 (CLE): E.J. Gaines, CB, Missouri (A-)
Round 3 Pick 20 (ARI): Dee Ford, OLB, Auburn (B+)
Round 4 Pick 6 (CLE): Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss (A-)
Round 4 Pick 15: Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor (A)
Round 4 Pick 20 (ARI): Marqueston Huff, FS, Wyoming (A-)
Round 5 Pick 14: Brandon Thomas, OG, Clemson (B+)
Round 6 Pick 19: Kirby Van Der Kamp, P, Iowa State (A)
Round 7 Pick 22 (PHI): Alden Darby, SS, Arizona State (A)
Round 7 Pick 32 (SEA): De'Anthony Thomas, RB, Oregon (A-)

    Your Future Picks:
    2015 Round 1 Pick
    2016 Round 1 Pick

The only things about this draft I don't like is I didn't get my top 4 choices for Free safety (I wanted to get one more 3rd round pick but didn't get a trade offer I found acceptable) and I didn't get any of my top choice 3-5th round OT's.

Looks like high score is only available for people that trade down. According to website, my 7 picks were solid but there's still a good distance between my score & all the high scores. This simulator is way too much fun. Nice job by the creators.

I think to get a high score you do need to trade down a time or two and/or get a high value pick(s) that dropped well below where they should have been.

Where do I sign up for that draft? lol Seriously, that would be an awesome draft, but can't see Moses and Loston dropping that far.

With the way Rex views and uses safeties, Loston and Dixon would not be out of the question. Of course, I'd rather have a FS, but one thing for sure, with both of those guys, plus the rest, no one would be able to run on us.

McGill might turn out to be a very good player. I love his size. I don't know how physical he is, but if nothing else, he might be able to move to FS if he didn't work out at CB.

That draft would address all our needs except FS. Nice job.

That's the thing - trading down definitely has a merit, but not after certain point.

You will usually see my draft inundated with 2nd and 3rd round picks, and then a few extra 4th, but not much after 4th really. I realized that, the value is still there in 2nd and 3rd, but it dries up quickly after 4th. There isn't much point in trading down to get 4th and lower picks because of that. Once I came to this realization, I decided to do things a little differently; trade down is for 1st round almost exclusively and to some extent 2nd. I do not trade down from 3rd and on. Scores have improved somewhat after this policy was in place. [I did break 4600 once - but didn't like what I got out of it.]

I'd wet myself if we got this....

Your score is: 3541 (Drafting Ability: B-, Player Quality A-, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 18: Marqise Lee, WR, Southern California (B+)
Round 2 Pick 17: Kyle Van Noy, OLB, Brigham Young (A-)
Round 3 Pick 5: Ahmad Dixon, SS, Baylor (A)
Round 3 Pick 16: Chris Watt, OG, Notre Dame (A)
Round 4 Pick 15: Kenny Ladler, FS, Vanderbilt (A)
    Round 5 Pick 14: Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB, Nebraska (A)
Round 6 Pick 19: Tyler Gaffney, RB, Stanford (B+)
Round 7 Pick 18: Jacob Pedersen, TE, Wisconsin (B-)

I went with BPA+Need rather than targeting 'studs'. I was a little disappointed how the very good TEs went early, hence taking Pederson in the 7th. I still think that he's in the top 10 TEs in the draft, so despite this games ranking of B-, I rank that pick slightly higher at A-.

I would have like to have nabbed another WR as well but think in real life there will be plenty of un-drafted, that said these picks are without supplemental picks , wow can't wait for the real draft. I just hope we don't go trading picks unless its stacked in our favour.

IMO that would be an amazing draft. Getting Jean-Baptiste in the 5th and Pedersen in the 7th would be great value imo, but then what do I know? That's the one issue I have with that site. IMO, your draft deserves an A, and a point score at least 750 points higher if not 1,000. I just don't think they have a clue of Jets needs or of player value. They have some players they love and some they hate and some they're meh on, and there are a lot of players that I think would be great fits for the Jets matching value/BPA and need that they don't like, but I guess that's to be expected. Any way, good job.

    first draft was updated again.

Dee ford and Kelvin Benjamin are now mid first rounders. Jordan Matthews has fallen to 50 and can often be had in the early 3rd. Some other players have shifted a bit. The QB's after the first 3 or 4 have all fallen way back. Zach Martin is now a mid first round prospect as he should be with his strong week in Mobile

Dee Ford may have been upgraded on the site, but he was still sitting there for me at the end of the 3rd round. I would go ape if the Jets had this draft. In reality, I would have taken Jacob Pedersen or the Black Mamba in the 7th round over Rajion Neal, but knew the site would give me an A for Neal and a lower grade (B- or something like that) for either Pedersen or the Black Mamba. The only two positions I didn't get to address that I wanted to were OG and CB but adding the quality I got, most at positions of need, more than compensates for not addressing those two positions imo.

Your score is: 4243 (Drafting Ability: A-, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

    Your Picks:
    Round 1 Pick 30 (S.F.): Hasean Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama (A)
Round 2 Pick 17: Kyle Van Noy, OLB, Brigham Young (A-)
Round 2 Pick 24 (S.F.): Brandin Cooks, WR, Oregon State (A)
    Round 3 Pick 5: C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa (A)
Round 3 Pick 16: Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Eastern Illinois (B+)
Round 3 Pick 17 (MIA): Craig Loston, SS, LSU (A)
Round 3 Pick 30 (S.F.): Dee Ford, OLB, Auburn (B+)
Round 4 Pick 15: Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss (A)
Round 4 Pick 17 (CHI): Joel Bitonio, OT, Nevada (A-)
Round 5 Pick 14: Charles Sims, RB, West Virginia (A)
Round 6 Pick 15 (CHI): Kirby Van Der Kamp, P, Iowa State (A)
    Round 6 Pick 19: Chris Boswell, K, Rice (A)
Round 7 Pick 18: Rajion Neal, RB, Tennessee (A)

Imagine the D: leave the DL as is. Have Davis and Harris at ILB, Van Noy or Ford and Coples at OLB, with Barnes as a situational pass rusher. They could even possibly bring back Pace, and use Van Noy at ILB some and Coples on the DL. The secondary would be Milliner, Cro, Loston, Clinton-Dix, with Ed Reed and Antonio Allen backing up Loston and Dix. If the Jets dropped Cro and signed Verner in FA, all the better.
