That would be my ideal draft right now as well. However, I wouldn't mind seeing OL or CB taken as well, just not with the first pick.
Scott's 1st rd picks are pretty accurate, but from today till the draft, his mocks are gonna keep changing. His final mock the night before the draft is pretty dead on, but only through the 1st rd. Its kinda hard to predict the 2nd and 3rd rd, who knew we would draft Schelgal and E. Smith in the 3rd
Where to start..... Denver does NOT need a cornerback that badly, Dominique Foxworth is more then capable of taking over, and Karl Paymah can be moved to nickelback. They all have a long familarity with the system and should be able to step in. Carriker is more then capable to play in a 4-3 system, hed just play DT. Thats essentially what I see carriker doing in a 4-3 system, or like the site mentioned, using him on running situations primarily. The ravens will indeed need a runningback if the rumors are true, Jamal Lewis could be traded in the offseason, MIke anderson is getting up there in years, musa smith is just alright. In My opinion our primary need is a passrush, thomas is good but we need a beast. Hence, Mr. Moss Jarvis Moss is a freak of nature, and we'd be stupid to pass up on him, hes long ,quick,fast, and if you saw the game I saw you know he really is a problem. Why couldnt Woodley play in a 4-3, if my eyes serve me correct he played dline in some michigan games, I could be wrong, anybody know this to be true ? If moss drops pass 45, ill eat my dog... If woodley drops pass 45 , ill eat street corner. If any of those three last until our second pick in the second round, Ill eat myself. Yah bush @ 37 would be good. Good post.
If Wright has the JETS taking a DE in Jarvis Moss in the first round, why would he have the JETS taking another DE in the second round when they could easily use that pick on a CB or an OL?
Moss would be an OLB/pass rusher, Francis would be a DE. I'm just not sure they would go with Moss over Woodley. Just 3 weeks ago, Carriker was a projected mid-second rounder, now they have him going mid-first. Mocks are fun at this point, but so much changes, starting with the Shrine game, the Senior Bowl and the combine....
