Dude that video of Lee is such nitpicking. No one is going to catch the football perfectly, just catch the damn ball!

The negative talk on Evans is so wrong. First, a few months ago, a lot of Guys in this forum were calling Evans slow, proved wrong after the Combine. I look at Evan's productivity and he was arguably one of the most productive WRs in 2013. All of this is a moot point because Evans isn't going to be available when the Jets are OTC.

I'm looking at what Marty is going to want in a WR if we draft one at #18. A WR that is explosive after the catch and IMO, Cooks, Lee and Beckham fit that mold.

Cooks has been super productive and is pound for pound a very physical WR. Plays fast, and isn't afraid to mix it up for a player his size. Great vision in the open field that is very apparent in his return game. Cooks seems to get open more on his own and makes players miss...more so than Lee & Beckham.

Lee after the catch in the open field is a YAC machine. Very explosive in crossing routes. Lee has taken a lot of criticism for a down year. Lee's 2012 season was incredible, he was unstoppable. If Lee was in 2013's draft, he would be considered a top 5 pick and would be in similar conversations like Watkins is this year. I like Lee and wouldn't hate if the Jets drafted him. I have some small reservations on his maturity level, nothing major and probably not effecting his draft status. I think Lee losses focus at times.

Beckham's #s are a product of his offense in sharing the load with Jarvis L. Great special team player and explosive in short areas. Not as physical as Jarvis Landry, but much quicker in tight areas . Great person, intelligent and great teammate.

Right now at #18 if all 3 wRs are available.....1) Cooks 2)Beckham/Lee.

I think Cooks is more explosive than a young Steve Smith, not as physical. I've made this comp numerous times, Cooks reminds me of a young Santana Moss.

You cant say im wrong till this time next year bud.

You cant convince me Lee will be a special player... I have seen too much of him to know he isn't!! All that kid can do well is accelerate after the catch. Thats it!

I have given you video evidence his hands are not at the NFL level and that his technique is not even practice squad level...

Not to mention he is injury prone...

This kid has bust written all over him.

Benjamin aside i would take Cooks or Beckham over Lee any day.

All this chatter about how how we need a shifty, speed guy to play with Decker is nonsense!

Evans would be a dream come true if he fell to us!!!!!

    Demarius Thomas is proof.

Marty Mornhinweg was at Oregon State's Pro Day today. #nyj

Not sure if anyone knew - checking out Cooks.

One thing you notice about Idzik and this regime so far is they value the draft FAR more then the previous regimes, they are even willing to blow a meeting with an NFL player to see a prospect.

Morhinweg would love Cooks. Perfect guy for his offense.

Basically, who do we think will project better as a pro? Lee, Cooks or Beckham Jr? One of these three may very well be the pick at #18.

Completely disagree with this. Lee is a good kid who had a tough upbringing but has overcome a lot of obstacles. I watched him at USC.

I know you said "small" reservations but it couldn't be further from the truth which is why I take such issue with it. No clue where you got that from.

100% agree. Lee is going to add a lot to an NFL offense from day 1, something I can't say about Cooks because it'll take more time for him to adjust to the size and speed of the NFL.

Though I would be happy with either prospect, so many fans have turned away from Lee due to that nitpicky and honestly unfair youtube video. He doesn't have bad hands at all; if you slow down every catch and every drop of any prospect, things are not going to look perfect.

Your still living in 2012 it seems.

If you think he is amazing based on one year that was 2 seasons ago fine... THIS year Lee wasn't half the player he was and his technique is bad, his hands are questionable and his injury didn't help.

That you tube vid is the only thing i can post on here that is only 4min of proving my point. I cant post some of the games where he looked average at best for USC this year!

Looks like we agree. To add to your point. Lee was even a better receiver in college in 2011+2012 than Allen was before he got hurt.

Why will it take Cooks any longer than Lee? I don't follow your reasoning here.

Put into consideration that USC suffered from poor QB play. You can say he had an off year but so did Jadeveon Clowney and he will be a top 3 pick.

If the Jets take him i hope you are guys are right! He would be a player that would be a good fit potentially in MM offense.

I just have my doubts.. His hand technique and injury makes me skeptical.
