Because I disagree with your opinion I don't like them?

    Ooook.

How much of Gholston have you even seen? Cause that sounded like another "Bowl game only" analysis to me...

Does anyone have any insight into Rubin? What round projection is he?
The below quote was music to my ears ;)

"With a build like a coke machine, Rubin is tough to move off the line of scrimmage, providing play-making opportunities for the defenders around him."

I haven't seen much of Rubin, but he looks the part, plays the part, and WANTS to play the part of a NT.

He's been rising up the boards, and I've seen mocks with him going to SD in the first....which is actually perfectly logical considering Williams' age. I'm not sure he goes that high, but it definitely sounds like he won't make it to our 3rd round pick.

yea, they said the same thing at NFLDC.....they had rubin going in the second, and wright stated that he believes that in time people will believe that rubin going in the 2nd wont be as much of a reach as we think it is right now.......especially considering all the 34 teams that can use a nose tackle right now.....

    i WANT rubin...........

I'll echo what others said. Rubin absolutely sounds like a NT. "Eats up blockers" and "short and squatty" are two phrases that I loved to hear.

Let's hope Mangini realizes that DRob is not the future at NT.

Oh, I love Gholston's player comparison: John Abraham. Abe was one of my favorite Jets (when on the field) and I'd be happy if Gholston developed into a similar player. Either he or Groves would make me a very happy camper.

No....................I wasn't disagreeing with your most valuable opinion , I was stating mine , which happens to be the opposite of yours.
How much have I seen of Gholston?
Like I've said countless times , not alot. So my opinion is based on what little I have seen and what I have read , which is now quite considerable.

The general consensus on Gholston, which you seem to miss is that he is a very good prospect , but because he does take plays off , they are more highlighted than if he were an average player. OK?

Actually the general consensus on Gholston is that he's one of the best pass rushers in the draft and that he tends to look lost when a play isn't directed at him or when he isn't directly involved in a play. This is a knock you'll see on every pass rusher in the draft...Groves has it...Crable has it...Abe had it when he came out...it's a very stereotypical knock for a pass rusher.

His motor was never really questioned until the Bowl game, which to more than a few internet fans was the only Gholston game they ever saw. Its become one of the most exaggerated knocks this year.

Check out the profiles for Red Bryant, and Kendal Langford. The addition of Red Bryant would be a great addition. Keeping blockers off Vilma if he returns, and Harris would greatly improve our run defense. 2nd round pick

If we could groom Lanford in rotation with D-Rob, and Ellis, would really seal up our DL. 4th round pick

Both picks are very realistic, and would love to see it.

Based on their profiles on NFL. com
