Didn't do any trades here to try and keep it more realistic Round 1 Pick 1: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson (A) Round 1 Pick 25: Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue (A) Round 2 Pick 1: Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia (A) Round 3 Pick 1: Charles Snowden, DE/OLB, Virginia (A-) Round 3 Pick 24: Alaric Jackson, OT, Iowa (A+) Round 4 Pick 1: Alijah VeraTucker, OG, USC (A+) Round 5 Pick 1: KJ Britt, ILB/OLB, Auburn (A+) Round 5 Pick 10: Baron Browning, ILB/OLB, Ohio State (A+) Round 7 Pick 25: Charles Williams, RB, UNLV (A+) thought process 1) take the obvious pick 2) was gonna go with a CB but many were on the board still and moore slipped. couldn't pass up the value and need. he's a swiss army knife of a player. small, speedy, great with YAC and a play maker. reminds me of deshaun jackson 3) now I take a CB and went with campbell. he's got good size at 6'2 and good coverage skills. has mostly been shut down and breaks up a lot of passes 4) A tall lanky OLB who needs to improve his pass rush and add about 15-20lbs but a solid drop back zone OLB in the 3-4 who's good against the run with pass rush potential. helps the OLB situation with zuniga. jenkins is likely gone so we need some edge guys 5) decided to add more o-line. we need depth and young potential. jackson is a big strong run blocker but his pass protection needs some help. we could try to improve it and start him at RT in the next few years or he could move to OG where he's likely better suited. could replace GVR on day 1 6) Double dipped on o-line. the value was there. he's a project but a big strong guy with limited athleticism. could groom him into a OG or at least be a good depth peice 7) value was too good to pass up in the 5th. he's likely a late 3rd rounder. he's a sideline to sideline tackler in our D likely an ILB alongside mosely, cashman, and hewitt. replaces avery basically and good insurance for when cashman gets injured 8) another edge guy. he's a raw athlete who needs time to develop but could be a situational pass rush guy as he works on his game. it's the 5th round so why not. has potential to be a solid edge rusher 9) final pick i took a RB. our situation is iffy. gore hopefully retires. either way he won't be a jet. bell is gone. that leaves perine who hasn't looked good and 2 JAGs in adams and ty who have looked good. williams is too much value and will likely rise up to a mid round pick but he was there for me. a small speedy scat back who is good at ST as a gunner. could be a woodhead/sproles type player if his hands improve. would make a good 3rd down back for us
