Sources say the Browns are gonna release him. I'd say he's worth the risk of signing him as a 3rd WR. What are your guys thoughts?
no. Speed is his game and with a year in the slammer getting slamed, I doubt he was running away too much so....no
If he was young id be willing to take the risk. But this guy is gonna be 30 when the season starts and is a bonified scumbag. I want him to do nothing with the Jets, this guy belongs in jail not the nfl
Murder is premeditated. He is far from a murderer. Not far from the scumbag accusation, but far from a murderer.
No. this team needs more of a Wayne Chrebet than so a deep threat. Stallworth would essentially be a rich man's David Clowney. We have plenty of Vertical threats. The Jets need someone who can move the chains w/ short and intermediate passing routes across the middle.
I don't think he'd be much of an asset to the team. I'd like to see more out of Clowney or bring in some other younger talent. And the guy isn't a murderer. He made a mistake and he'll be living with the consequences for the rest of his life. Enough with the holier-than-thou bullshit.
He had something like 11 catches and 150 yards before going to prison for killing a dude. We'll gladly trade you him.
If we're gonna sign a veteran WR I'd rather it be Tolt than this jackass BTW, it's apparent that the offseason is in full swing
you know...people on here are acting like they have never had a few drinks and drove home...i'm not belittling what he did but cut the shit...it could have easily been the majority of people on this message board
i said the majority not everyone... and what i mean is that if you have a beer and then drive just realize you are legally drunk
