    hey turk....

i am here, watched the game at home and IMO it was uglier than the final score.

the broncos exploited every jet weakness today and convinced me that even an 8-4 team has alot to do in the off season - no matter what happens in the playoffs.

now they have 4 weeks to prove the NE and TEN games were not flukes.

agreed this game was a lot worse than it looked...the jets had chances but didnt take advantage of those chances....

Exactly! Every weakness was exposed today. We cannot defend the pass and cannot throw down the field. Denver looked at the tape of the last 2 weeks and realized that all we do is run the ball or throw quick slants or screens, we don't spread the ball. They forced us to do so and we couldn't do it. Having Favre didn't make any difference today in our ability to stretch the field. To make matters worse we still can't defend the pass, and our Run D completely disappeared to make a 7th round scrub look like Barry Sanders.

Everyone's hoping Clowney can be that deep threat for Favre. But as for now there's no one skilled enough to be that deep play threat for Favre.

It happens on any given Sunday. I'm still happy at 8-4. Now on to San Francisco and thank them for beating the Bills with a beatdown of our own. Kinda like what the Titans did to Detroit on turkey day.

    Good post Turk.

Denver smacked us around today, and simply played better plain and simple. Any given Sunday.

We'll get back on track next week.
