#3 should read starting qb with the worst accuracy. his backup is the worst in football. as to the o.p. you are right it is too early to panick, however if they get blown out monday nite. it will be time to head for the bunker.
I may be an asshole, but I am speaking the truth. No one is afraid of the New York Jets right now and we will never be as long as Mark Sanchez is at the helm. On a positive note, you folks played some tough opponents, but to say you lost because Revis is out is absurd. You lost because you failed to score any points. Want to know why you can not run the ball??? Because teams know who the QB is, so they stack teh box to stop the run and apply pressure. They all know he can't make the throws most of the time and even when they can, he stares his targets down so long that the floating safety sees where the ball is about to go and heads there to break up the play.
Now see, that wasn't so hard. This was a post with a little effort put into it, worthy of a response pointing out where you are wrong. So here it is........
we have? That is news to me, I don't think they look bad at all. Did many plays not go there way while the replacement refs were around..YES..Look around the league though Saints GB NE Now look in the mirror. Look what SF did to you. Look how Mark Sanchez is doing. Look at your total offensive scheme. Look at your total defensive scheme. Find some bright spots compare them to the bright spots in NE. Look at whom you are going to play for the duration of the season. Ballpark what you think your record will be at the halfway point of the season. What will the Pats record be? Do you think the Jets can beat NE at all this year with Sanchez at the helm? I personally do not think so. I think your only shot is with Tebow and even then, I am pretty confident in saying that your best shot is a split. I am being a realist here. If you want to win, drop Sanchez, he isn't a winner. Like someone else said before, he is a tease. If you want to live in the past, go for it. I choose not to. I do not care what the Pats have done since 2000. I only care about what they are going to do for the duration of this year...and I feel pretty good about it. Do you?
We got out coached big time. We we not ready for their wildcat'ish runs. We held Gore to 43 yards but the gadget run plays murdered us.
Most of these players have been on the team or in the league for a while now, if they don't know how to block or tackle or pass or catch at this point then that is a pathetic statement about our coaching staff and the professionalism of the players themselves. You cannot at this time teach fundamentals to these players, the should already know it so well that it happens without any conscious thought at all. If we have to go back to basics and take baby steps with them again then this is going to be one horrific season.
