clemens starting instead of a rookie would've been fine... at least we can give him a real shot... instead we wasted a 2nd rounder who will likely with our luck go to ne and become the next brady(after brady retires of course) and beat us for the next 10 yrs

John also refuses to play in crucial playoff games because his money is too important to risk playing for.

John also got sacks on the Drew Bledsoe led Bills and Jay Fiedler led Dolphins.....2 statue QBs.

He is the king of racking up sacks against shitty teams. If you want that over a franchise QB then I don't know what else to say.

English is most known for paying the tab of a 125000 dinner so far and Ayers has been considered a disappointment in Denver.

John Abraham is one of the best pure pass rushers in the NFL. Hes a tremendous playmaker who must be accounted for on every single play. With that being said he is also one of the biggest pussies in the NFL. He CAN'T STOP the run AT ALL which is why he only plays 2/3s of the defensive snaps.

Bottom line hes similar to Julius Peppers, an amazing inconsistent player

So you think having Clemens, Ratliff and Ainge at the QB spot isn't considered having a need at this spot?

Considering that STL, SEA, WSH, SF(Thanks Carolina) and maybe TEN 5 teams that could very well finish ahead of us will ALL consider or take a QB in next year's draft, where would we go to then if say none of those 3 were any good in 2009?

Shit Oakland could grab a QB before us.........

true to a point.... he has gotten better against the run....yes he is fragile... but still we need someone like that.... i would love to have someone like that teeing off on 3rd down... we get more pressure with our safeties right now

I didn't read all these posts so i'm not sure if this was mentioned or not but i sit in section 111 row 2 on the 47yd line behind the Jets bench.
After his 4th or 5th interception Sanchez was standing on the sideline next to Clemens watching the Bills on offense talking to a young kid(Ryans son?).
The mother fucker was laughing and joking with Clemens and the kid!

I realize he's a rookie and will make mistakes like this but to be laughing on the fucking sideline is UNACCEPTABLE!
