    i may be eating a turkey sandwhich tommorow before first pitch

    on a bad note...i hate this mets towel...whenever its in the room the mets look like shit...i threw that fuckin thing down the stairs into the darkness of the basement

    Just got back from a 2 1/2 hour meeting with the university president (he is also the chairman of the New York Federal Reserve Board, and he says "the economy looks good"). They served turkey, though, so it's all good.

    Good question. I know that several members of the Faculty Council are Mets fans - maybe they're lurkers on TGG? :lol: The university president is a Yankees fan, and at the first meeting of the Faculty Senate he predicted that the Yankees would beat the Mets in 6 games in the World Series.

    He didn't mention baseball at today's meeting.

    Had a turkey sandwich for lunch with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and now I'm going to have another turkey sandwich for dinner with lettuce, tomato, mayo, salad dressing, oil, vinegar.

    He needs to eat many as punishment for having little faith in the team.

    We are hoping he misses three innings early tonight due to explosive diarrhea and then passes out for the final three innings when all the tryptophan kicks in.
