Things were looking bleak until that emergency sandwich.

If I had any doubts about the power of turkey, they're definately gone now.

I actually gave away a Subway coupon. It was buy a sub, get a sub and a drink free. I now see I should've kept it.

Eating turkey sandwiches would be an unusual step for me, but hey, whatever it takes.

oh BTW, we had all the karma going for us. We had major Jungle Karma going today. Jim Rome interviewed Omar Minaya during his show, and that was only 3 hours and change before the first pitch. Dodgers fans actually e-mailed the show complaining, asking that Rome interview a Dodger to offset the Mets karma. Rome obviously wouldn't do that.

Once again, I eschewed the turkey and the Mets still won.

There will be no turkey games this series as far as I know. They obviously had to push back Saturday's game since Friday's won't be over till midnight and they still have to travel afterwards.

With Oliver Perez pitching the game of the season, with desperate times comes desperate measures. Time to turkey up, and load the mustard because we will need it

I agree. We need to break turkey out of the reserves. Desperate times call for desperate measures!

turkey doesn't work for night games. if you're going to do anything do some kind of rain dance, as there is a very good chance that Monday's game could be rained out, and the forecast for tonight doesn't look so hot either.
