    Now that is an epic fail right there. Throw tons of money at someone only to be spurned and retain the guy you just treated like crap.

    Stanford certainly has the money to give. He already had a preemptive offer on the table in December and Bowlsby seemed certain he'd take it per Jim's word. I've met the guy. He's a great, great guy if ubercompetitive. I was suspicious of the Miami news because of the douchery it would take to steal a coach's job before he was fired.

    I loved this quote by Luck's dad when he was saying that his son wasn't returning to school to avoid going to the panthers:
