Plus look in what divisions the 49ers and the Dolphins are playing... If I were the Dolphins I'd be looking at Rob Ryan
Unfortunately, Richarsdon is not going to pay top dollar for a coach after getting out from Fox' contract. Don't count out the Raiders. Don't laugh. Harbaugh likes Davis, and if he can bring Lombardi in as GM he might do it. It's a talented team, and maybe he thinks he can do something with Campbell.
I was just thinking.... scary eh! If the Dolphins dump Sporano, by league rule, don't they also have to give a sham interview to an african american candidate before hiring Harbaugh?
You guess enough, eventually you can get something right. Person hears a rumor on TV. Posts that it will happen and waits to see if he is right.
Problem is, he can't bring on Lombardi on as GM--Al Davis will hold that job until he's been dead for 7 years.
"poor" tony sparano, beeing shoved aside, while miami still is looking for his replacement, you must be kidding me, do you really feel its out of the line, how many weeks did players 47-53 had to be scared they get cut, because we had all these workouts during the week with free agents, tony sparano will have earned 12 million dollars with this gig, the last 3 of them probably without even working for us anymore, poor guy indeed.....
This is the last thing the other owners want when they are a few weeks away from locking out the players.
La Canfora reporting that San Fran & Stanford have jumped ahead of Miami now. Harbaugh's preference is to remain on the West Coast apparently. Also Ross is heading back to Miami now. This is playing out like the Revis saga. Nobody in the media knows WTF is going on and the story changes by the hour.
Wouldn't be surprised if Harbaugh came to a handshake agreement with Miami and this is all just smoke & mirrors until the Dolphins officially axe Sparano and conduct the token minority interview to comply with the Rooney Rule.
As I said in the other thread...It's all a ploy for him to get more money from Stanford...Doubling his salary to 6 million ish. Plus, like I also said, good things never happen to the Dolphins.
Sparano joins Herm Edwards and Eric Mangini on the list of coaches who looked a lot smarter than they are before Chad Pennington got hurt. Take him off the field and make the coaches have to think, they get exposed.
I think regardless of who their coach is the great thing for Miami is they're still stuck with forehead as their QB.
