This is typical of those who hate Daboll:

~I swear I could bring up an endless amount of reasons that support the fact that Daboll was just not very good at handling our offense, and didn't know how to effectively use what little talent he had. Even Holmgren was quick to call Rob Ryan a good coordinator in the bye week interview, but only described Daboll as a hard working guy who tries a lot. Holmgren also alluded to the press that he has gotten angry and raised his voice at Daboll over his offensive schemes and plays. Obviously Holmgren is not going to undermine and insult his own OC to the press but it's easy to see that Holmgren did not agree with Daboll. The fact that we canned him so fast shows that Holmgren did not think Daboll could get the job done, talent or not.

~His cyclone package, which recieved tons of press in the preseason, was poorly implemented and we ran it once a game, or less and we never got more than a few yards out of it. Daboll had no idea how to implement Cribbs in the offense, never got him into open space where he could make plays, and never let him use his agility to his advantage. We never once gave Cribbs a screen pass with downfield blockers. This would be great for Cribbs as it would let him run down field in space and with protection, similar to a kick return. If we handed the ball to him, it was up the middle and who the hell sends a WR/QB hybrid up the middle like a friggen running back?

~Daboll called run run pass punt 6 times in the Jacksonville game alone. I remember because I made a thread about it. That's 6 3-and-outs on identical sets of plays. We never tried to change our gameplan when it was obvious that the Jags were stuffing the run. Who knows how many times the rest of the season we ran ran pass punted our way to mediocrity?

~Daboll stopped using Vickers to block for Hillis mid-way through the season, and Hillis stopped getting 100+ yards a game. Big surprise. Vickers wasn't even used to block for Hillis when it was 3rd and goal on the 1 yard line. We sent Vickers to the outside and Hillis up the middle, and Hillis got stuffed.

~Our receivers may suck, but even if they were open, they weren't getting the ball due to Daboll's checkdowns which passed over the WRs in favor of the TE and RB. In Daboll's schemes, we would dump off for a 3 yard pass even if receivers were open downfield because the QBs weren't even looking downfield in the first place. You could see this if you followed the QB's vision and saw who he was looking at during a play.

~Daboll doesn't make game-time adjustments. That is not an exaggeration, either. Don't believe me? That quote in my signature... that's not fake and not taken out of context. He really said that when talking about making adjustments during a game, and he meant it.
