Clearly we have different definitions then. You look at individual stats and I look at what he does for the team.
Fair enough - my opinion is that he was a far superior QB to Penny. Obviously this isn't there QB of the future but he's light years better than anyone on the current roster. I don't think they'll sniff the playoffs but they definitely upgraded at the QB spot and he can help the rookie they drafted.
But the guy had a rock solid o-line, Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson, Tony Gonzalez. A system that an old guy could survive in.... He comes to Miami with a shitty o-line and Ronnie Brown as their biggest weapon. The AFC East is going to rape poor Trent Green. He should have retired.
