Well obviously you don't understand what teammwork is all about. What I meant by that statement is Brady can't win SB's with jsut any team. He needs a HC that undestands how to dissect teams and create mismatches. The Pats are not going to be the best team in the league every year and they will have to step back at some point because it's too hard to sustain that level of play year in and year out. Other teams will get the desire to dominate and with good coaching can and will. The Pats will battle and they will win but they won't win every single year, this isn't baseball. It's the NFL and you can only dominate so long before someone else steps up and dominates. The Pats have lost a boat load of coaches and players the last couple of seasons, it will take it's toll. Miami is ascending and the Pats have leveled.

You're right, but the Fins have also lost coaches and players. Don't mention that much now do you? :)

You're putting a lot on a QB who is coming off a serious injury. Sure he looks great in zero real game contact drills. So did the tin man, Pennington. You guys were all over the Jets about Penny's injury, yet don't see a thing wrong with going with a guy who tore 3 ligaments in his knee. Oh that's right, you have the 2nd coming of Favre to back him up, Joey Harrington. A guy who Detroit built their entire off-season around for 4 years, including 3 straight amazing WR's. But now that he is a Fin, that is all forgotten... why, cause of Saban? Well the Jets have Mangini now, so all things being equal, why won't the Jets now succeed above the Fins? And spare me the "Detroit was bad and had no coach" thing. Mooch was and is a good coach, especially for QB's.

Your time to win is short in the NFL. With each off season that the Fins do better, your guys will want more money and move on as well. This isn't only localized to the Pats.

My advice? Wait til you take us out before strutting down the street like a pimp.

Think what you like about Saban and Daunte or WH or the color of the uni's, the dirt infield, other fin fans, whatever, it's your opinion . However I don't recall telling you you're full of it, because I don't agree with what you write.

You can believe whatever it is you want believe. You don't have to agree with my opinion, but you also have no right to force your opinion on me. If you want to bash someone for what they believe find someone else to bash, but kindly leave me out of your opinions. Thank you.

What you gonna do when Daunte hurts his knee and goes down?? Your backup is Joey F'n Harrington!! Yes, the fins will be better but your no where near being a playoff team. Secondary is weak, and lb's are getting old. D-line is still ok, but defense is nowhere where they once were.

Ummm, who did the fins lose???

Daunte doesn't have shoulder problems there is a big difference in that injury because of how the players use there arms as QB's....that's commonm sense.

Excuse me genius, but when did I write anything about Joey??? That's right I didn't, I guess you just felt the need to be a sarcatic two year old.
As with all Jet fans no one in the division can talk about their team being good enough to win, but Jet fans, got it!!!! As far as Joey goes, he's better then what we had in Sage, having solid depth is what it takes to win in the NFL. Joey has been a starter his whole career, pretty stupid move by Saban getting a guy that has been a starter in the NFL last 3 years.

Mangini doesn't have near the reputaion of being a talent evaluator or HC that Saban has nor does he have the experience, but now Mangini is as good as Saban, according to you??? Mooch sucked as a HC, what did he ever win???

Nowhere near being a playoff team?? We were near being a playoff team last year, with an entirely new coaching staff, no secondary no elite or even starting QB. We now have a coaching staff with the system in place a franchise QB and a secondary, yet we're nowheres near a playoff team!! If this thread doesn't epitomize all Jets fans on this site...... nothing ever will!!!

In the past 2 years you have lost both of you best corners in Surtain to chiefs and now Madison to Giants, and if your gonna tell me you got Will Allen then you are living in a diferent world. Allen is a decent nickleback at best. Receivers will have a field day against your current secondary with no safety help. Be honest with yourself and your shitty fins!!!!

If you don't like us jets fans then you can leave, you have no business coming here and telling us that the Fins will win the Super Bowl. Enter reality buddy and see life as it is, not as how you want it to be.

 No need for the unpleasentries... just talking football and I am far from a genius.

    1. Sorry, I thought you followed your team. I'll inform you who you lost: Sam Madison, Junior Seau and Ricky Williams. Of course you also lost a few more, but they are not worth mentioning. Although I guess I'll also mention Frerotte and Boston as a lot of Fin fans kept telling me how good they were. And that is just from this season. You lost Surtain in the past as well. Do not forget your Offensive Coordinator Scott Linehan either.

    2. Um, DC is a running QB, so yes, his legs are important. In addition, if he can't move in the pocket, that greatly affects his ability to hit the targets. As you put it, common sense, no? Also, he'll be in the AFC East. Some good defenses here who'll be gunning for that leg (though I DO NOT condone injuries and wish him well.)

    3. From what I've seen, Joey is no better than Sage. Average at best. I realize you didn't bring him up, but he is a major player on the Fins this year with the unknowns of DC's leg. Just being on the same field as Saban doesn't equal improvment on the field for a QB. Though I do feel he has room to improve with Nick, it is no guarantee. He could be cut just as easy as improve. It's the NFL.

    4. I didn't realize Nick already had a reputation as a talent evaluator in the NFL after 1 season. Seems to me like he picks like Belichick & Pioli, which, if I am not mistaken, so has the combination of Mangini & Tannenbaum.

    5. Mooch did well in his time with SF, but not Detroit. What has Nick ever won in the NFL as a HC? Doesn't mean he is bad either, no?

Cheer up man, just talkintg football... no real right or wrong. Take off the Kevlar and sit for a while. We won't bite. Cheers!

You're right. But there have been alot of Phins fans coming and saying the same thing. Hell, look at the posts in this thread by Dr.Love there. I posted a similar reply as I did to you, I get sarcastic reply. So I apologize if I was quick to jump on you, but it was sort of reflex.

But my point is that BB and Parcells, and many other GMs and HCs had nothing but praise for Mangini. Many calling him a prodigy. Everyone and their uncle thought he would be a GM one day. But that still does not mean he will be a good HC in the NFL. Just like all his acomplishments in the college ranks and as a Coordinator did not mean Saban was going to work out as an NFL head coach. And both went into situations with a roster in transition and an organization in rebuilding mode.

Yet all these Phins fans want us to forget the similar criticisms. To think that they all knew Saban would be a great coach and have a winning season. That he is the next Shula. Hell, the jury is still out on Saban, this is only his second year for Cripes sake, lets hold of on the HOF inducation. I don't think this this is such a far-fetched point I am making.

I don't think we'll be having any maturity lectures from a 12 year old.

You really can't argue this with the Fins fans that think the Dolphins are going to be good this year. They're like the Jet's fans who were buying the "Chad is gonna be fine and the Jet's are a Super Bowl contender this season" buzz last year.

Odds are very good that the Dolphins take a step back this year but until it happens the Fins fans won't believe it.

Back a step or forward a step the Fins will never reach the Playoffs. Based on AFC talent alone.

Zach Thomas likes the way Jason Allen chases deep balls. You tell me what's going on over there!
