One big difference Seafood, they aren't playing Hofstra's schedule this year...

Completely agree. Despite being pretty accurate most of the night, Chad threw a few potential TDs a little too high, two in the same series in the first half when they kicked a FG. Miami's WRs are not the greatest, if he had a big target with hands it would certainly help him out. Glad they don't, fuck it, they're the Dolphins.

The schedule is the schedule, everyone in the divison plays the same schedule for the most part.

Maybe the Bill, most likely the Pats but not the Dolphins. Their defense stinks and they don't have a vertical passig game at all.

Once again CP lives up to his motto..."Chad was ALMOST good enough to win."

Say what you will, Ginn needs to man up on that play. Not like he was going up against Bob Sanders on that play. Go up and grab the ball. He was in an excellent position to do so. He gets an offensive pass interference there, then so be it, but he needs to get up and snatch the ball out of the air. Poor job. I won't even get into the fact he was a 1st round draft pick (number 10).

The ball hit him right in the hands, any average WR makes that catch in that spot.

Lame, how can you hate on a guy who played his heart out for us every game? Its' not his fault that our crappy line at the time threw him to the wolves and he got busted up.

I thought he gave a damn good effort there. I agree that a top flite WR finds a way to come down with it, but he isn't a top flite WR. I can't say he didn't put forth the effort though. To me it appeared he only got one hand on it, but maybe I'm wrong. I'd bet that most WRs in the league don't come down with it either.

    Yes. When...

...Favre signed as a Jet, Ashley "Trashley" Spivey joined the board, and Kerry Rhodes had a big announcement to make that was going to blow the socks off of Jets fans everywhere.

Anybody with the will to win makes that catch. He needs to want it more. He had position on the DB. The ball was lofted (ala Pennington) but he needs to get up and take it out of the air. It was basically a jump ball, and he had the defender "boxed out." Gotta catch it. The Fins lost so it's not like I'm crying about it.

That final interception was a hail mary (for chad's arm).. That doesn't count as blowing the game. The game was blown already.. With the ridiculous 2 minute offense they ran. That game should have been theirs..

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Kerry Rhodes stuff-

It must have been Favre mania on here last year.

Most WR's in the league have a QB that doesn't need to float it in there.

Can't let facts get in the way of a good Chad bashing. I guess he should have grounded the ball at 0:00 so it wouldn't have been an INT.

Chad showed a real lack of leadership last night. As a QB you have to get your team to the line and watch he clock. It had nothing to do with a receiver not making a catch.

I have to admit, I never liked him much. He is just bad luck.

I agree, always felt like we could come back with Vinny. My big pet peeve with Pennington was that he was very conservative and played not to lose.

I liked Vinny best of anyone except Namath and I only caught the end of Namath when he wasn't that good. But Vinny and Chad both gave us good years and won here more than any other QBs we've had, so I don't get any hate for either guy from Jet fans. It's not like we had a run of Super Bowls going before Vinny and Chad got here and ruined it. In fact we hadn't won a division since the merger and each guy at least did that for us.
