I can only pray that Donald Trump sees this and puts his name into the hat.

Think Dolan would hire Isaiah Thomas to turn the Yankees around?

Oh sure jump ship to the Red Sox, I would never suggest you root for the Mets but surely there has to be somebody better than the Red Sox. I would suggest the Angels as I think sooner or later they'll become the West Coast version of the Yankees plus they own you guys.

I know that. Do you think Henry and Loretta and the others don't have loans backing up their personal investments? Sure you have to have your own money to get in the club but what you do after that is done on your own.

I'd honestly probably just walk away from the sport forever. I did when the strike happened, and I returned because I truly love my Yankees.

But the reason I said the Sox was to show just how much I would hate if Dolan purchased the team. The worst possible team I could move to would be the Sox, and that's why I said them.

It's not a question of the team's ability to win (which I think the Sox have anyway,) but more the bitter hatred I have for Dolan and anything he touches. If he bought my Yankees, they'd no longer be "my" Yankees.

I hope Dolan gets hit by a truck and I hope he never sniffs the Yankees.

Nice to see the NYY faithful making advanced plans for jumping ship. True blue.

We're not talking about a decision like keeping Torre. That's a reversible decision if unsuccessful. If Dolan buys the team, it's for a very long term. We've seen what he can do to a major sports franchise with his terrible decision-making, and none of us want to see that happen here.

Plus, I despised Dolan for the way he blocked YES for a year. Yankees fans were left out in the cold, yet still paid for Cablevision.

Then he pulled that crap with the West Side Stadium. That was it for me. He blocked the WSS solely to protect his monopoly on major events at MSG, and as a result, NYC lost out on gaining the Jets. (I know a lot of people are happy the Jets are still in NJ, but I'm not. I'm a native NYer, and I wanted my favorite team to "come home.")

It's not being fickle, it's fear.

Even if the devil himself bought the Mets... I would still be a fan.
