In the 5-6 range I think. If we lose out Matthews could actually fall in our laps.

These mocks are all kind of dicey until the Juniors declare.

I think its best at this point to lose out, were pretty much eliminated from the playoffs mainly due to tiebreakers, we lost to almost every team in the wild card fight.

I wouldn't mind losing out the rest of the season for a better pick. Unfortunately, we might lose the rest of these games without trying to lose them.

Winning a couple games down the stretch would show us that we might have a solid #2 in Simms. I am really not sure what to expect next week but without Geno starting we might be pretty good.

Simms looked no better then Geno with that fumble and INT (should of been two). Im glad we are at least giving him a shot but unless he makes better decisions, its Geno #2 all over again. I feel sorry for both guys though because its not entirely their fault dealing with this garbage offensive line and street bums they call receivers.

To the OP, this line is not just top 5 but its bottom 5/10 easily. Has anyone ever seen so many blitzes get to the QB? Every single game 4-5 blitzes or stunts come in unaccounted for. None of these guys have any communication and usually they have 2 guys blocking one while another runs right in with a free shot. Its almost like they have never seen a stunt or blitz before. What in the hell is the Oline coach teaching these guys?

Can we give Simms one full game before we write the book on him?

I wouldn't be surprised if we go 2-2 with him down the stretch.

I mean seriously, how many second chances has Geno had?

I'm really curious to know what your infatuation with Simms is based off of.

Simms is not Geno, he still has a chance to produce something this year if given the opportunity unlike Geno who clearly needs a time out.

I am more curious as to the undying devotion that other fans have lavished upon Geno Smith despite his downward spiral as a quarterback.

Recently the Panthers took Jimmy Clausen in round two. Did they pass up Cam Newton in round one the following year in hopes that Clausen would get better? No, they took the guy that was the best choice to lead their team.
