While we're (sort of) on the topic, I was thinking of asking all the GGers in here from the Hartford/New haven area..if theyd be interested in finding a bar to watch all the Jet games at. Obviously there are plenty of "Jet bars" in NY and NJ...and I think it's time we CT yankees find a good spot to catch the games. Any ideas?
As a current student at Hartford I can confirm the part about a lot of the Jets games on CBS. If there isn't a conflict with the Pats or Giants, it will definately be on. IIRC they actually showed Jets/Dolphins last December in CT over Chargers/Colts.

There's supposively a jets bar in Manchester. I'm gonna hafta look into it, and if it's true perhaps we could all meet for acouple games there.
went to hartford for a year boy was that place a shithole i transfered my ass down here to towson. be prepared to have to buy your beer before 8pm and some really shitty weather.
But yea, I've lived in CT all my life and Hartford is a terrible. It was in the top 10 for worst cities in the US
The ghetto of Hartford is indeed really bad. But downtown has actually come a long way. Alot of cool bars and restaurants are being built, including an espnzone.
