Actually, I was wondering what PennyandtheJets was wondering.

I think we have to start addressing the offensive line sooner than the 4th round, don't you.

We won't do Jack next year with the offensive line omitted from overhaul.

I am OK with Cutler in the first, especially if Chad has to exit. Rounds 2 and 3 have to be used for the offensive line.

No I'm not. I thought the "none whatsoever" would be the giveaway.

I've been saying all along that Chad would be gone. One way or the other. Why keep him around? Will he be our starter in 07 if not next year? NO. Everyone is saying that $ is the reason for keeping him. I think that our current situation is the reason for getting rid of him. How good do we plan on being next year? Contenders? No. Cut our losses NOW and draft a guy. I want Vince and only Vince but we may end up with Cutler. I know all or most of you are in love with the guy(Cutler) and I hope you're right about him. Matt will be gone by our pick regardless(I don't want him anyway). If we can get Young we HAVE to do it then draft the hell out of the OL. RB situation will have to work it self out by FA or some lucky pick in the later rds.

We won't draft a qb either way, its just not essential in round 1.

Cutler will cost us our #4 and Jacobs is not an NFL QB. I say waite and draft Whitehurst.

I feel we will have Rivers as our QB, Marty will give his son a present and trade Rivers for Abe. Rivers already knows the offense we will be using now, plus we all know CHad and Brooks are both slow to learn a new offense. Chad will be cut and Brooks has earned the right to be our #2 QB.

The game is won in the trenches...as much as I want a RB in rd one we need to get an Olinemen...I'm telling you guys Oak will be one of the fastest rising teams because they bit the bullet and went out and got two of the best Olinemen in the draft last year...lets work the trenches now and get then everyone around them gets better

ok, but other than quinn who would you consider a marquee qb. not that I don't agree but I say again that we need to go rb this year and yes most likely go qb next year since we will be in the running for a top 5 pick.

No OT is worth $6 million a year, especially a rookie OT. Why would we refuse to give McKenzie who was a proven NFL OT $3.5 million a year and then give a rookie OT $6 million? That would really piss me off!

Aside from the little matter of a horrific offensive line having not improved at all.
