Mad-dog asked him what he learned as Jets HC. Herm said he learned how to be honest. HaHa! Herm also said it wasn't a money issue. He is off the air now.I hope we don't hear from him again on New york radio.

    Honesty huh?

Perhaps mad dog should have played a clip of that infamous "if you leave the team better than you found it...thats success" speech.

Parcells is probably rolling over in his flour when he heard that.

Herm is a POS for showing up on NY radio and Dog and Mike should be even more ashamed of themselves for inviting him on. I swear, it's all indicative of the "Mike and the Mad-Dog Anti-Jets Show," a new introduction to the airwaves after the beloved Giants-era Bill Parcells departed the area for greener pastures (in the eyes of Mike Fatcessa).

What could possibly have come from an interview with Herm on that show that would have been positive for Jets fans?

Absolutely nothing, which is why I continued to despise M&MD.

Totally agree about the KC fans. Myself I give him 2 years & then bye-bye cause he will cause a storm much greater then big Shotty caused. That is one terrific idea I will do that it will keep me amused all off season.

I think Herm was a cruel hoax (something which is meant to deceive) played on Jets' fans. He is the ultimate UFO - Unidentified Football Object.

Wow, I'm not even on the board for a while and CJ69 can't let things go. What a freakin' joke. Let's see, the REAL answer is that if I hear about KC I think of Herm but that's about it these days. Plus I want to make sure you remember our little bet where you said KC fans would be calling for Herm's head by week 8?

As I've said many times before I liked Herm, still do, and think he got a bum rap from many Jets fans. He definitely had his faults but many things people liked to bash him for they let slide or give credit to other coaches. I also think and have said that the way things went down it was probably the best for both sides and Mangini has more potential then Herm but from what I've read in the papers and seen on tv he still has plenty to learn.

But we're talking about CJ69 here so why let facts and reality get in the way of his talk :)
