Oh it was the hotel? Strange I was thinking the Jets wouldn’t have gone back to the hotel after the game......well I know whatever happened it was a boo-boo. And very Jets like.....lol.
That would make sense - not a lot of pomp in those days and would explain no pictures. Plus I’m sure Rozelle wasn’t too happy with the result....
The "moon landing" was July 20, 1969. The Jets "won" the Super Bowl on January 12, 1969. So the Jets "winning" the Super Bowl was a TRIAL RUN for the fake moon landing!!!
There were actually some people who thought the fake moon landing should be a trial run for a Jets Super Bowl win. There was debate over which was more implausible. True fact.
