He may not be "good" but hes been the hot hand recently, other than the runs he allowed the other night..

however, perhaps his hot hand has ended.

    WOW wagner blows.

how about this as an example of more willie idiocy? hey, the guy stunk last night so let's bring him in tonight in a totally unnecessary situation.

Mets survive more crappy bullpen work to get the win and extend the lead over the Phils (okay, I'm assuming they can't overcome an 11-run deficit in the 9th inning).

Atlanta DFA'd Bob Wickman tonight. When asked who would be the closer now, Bobby Cox said "anybody out there would be a possibility."

And you thought our bullpen sucked. At least we have Wagner (albeit in a rough stretch).

I will enjoy watching the Mets pound Fatso on Sunday night. Maybe he's going to kiss the cover of "Big Bam" before he takes the mound. What an ass.

I hate playing the Mets, we never beat you guys. The series in June was like a mirage.

Ooh, how exciting - Delgado is coming up with the bases loaded and two outs.

BTW, I hate these 4:00 games.

Well, that's why they let Beltran steal - now they walk Conine and pitch to Delgado. Of course, they could have done that when it was 1st and 3rd, but no manager has the guts to do that.

The fans are trying to help by Delgado by cheering for him. Interesting ...

And it worked! Delgado with the two-run single! The fans get the credit by giving him a standing ovation beforehand!

I don't understand why stuff like that doesn't happen more often.
