That was Livan's last game. The rotation after the All-Star Break will be: Santana, Big Pelf., Perez, Maine, and Nieve(that is if Nieve doesn't suck tomorrow).
I don't know why we ever signed Livan. This team is pathetic. I understand we have some injuries and it doesn't help, but NO ONE IS STEPPING UP. Minaya sucks as a GM and I'm beginning to think that Manuel is becoming another Randolph. Things better change after the All Star break.
Ron Darling was all over that. He was just talking about the pickoff play being used a lot more with Cora than Reyes and bam, they nailed Kemp. Kemp is a solid young player but he makes a lot of baserunning mistakes. This year he has been better but will still occaisionally do something like that, in a moment of lapse. Mets are just in a bad way right now. You need to get your guys back and get some breaks, there's a lot of baseball left and you're not that far out. You never know.
