Do you guys think Justin Miller 'screwed' us out of Vince Young?

I must admit... I'm coming down with the early stages of Super Bowl Fever.

    HAHA...ditto

I respect all Jets fans including you and if I am a pain in the ass I am sorry, but there is n't much you say that makes too much sense...for example

    - Jay Fiedler is affordable and is gonna be with the team
    - We are just retooling NOT rebuilding
    - (My personal favorite) Jets XLI bound!

Well, there are a lot more people seeing the Jets problems as very long term than just a one year retooling. There is a great chance of coming back stroing after a rebuild than there is with a retool with this aging roster.

That's my point, this roster is aging! We have to win now before we lose all our current talent to aging, see what I mean? We need to retool and get back on track before it's too late.

I wonder who would win in a street fight, you or Jetsrock16.

Three years from now, we will be thanking the Lord we didn't get Vince Young. He is nothing more than a supersized Michael Vick. Great legs, no arm!!!!!!!!!

This may be one of those transistion years. Hey, even Bill Belichek went 5-11 in his first year with the Pats. I think it'll take a year for Mangini and company to get the players they want. They could still be decent next year, just not anything spectacular. Regarding Miller, I don't blame the kid for possibly costing us Vince Young. I was at the game and rooting for us to win, but it could end up being one of those costly wins if Young dominates and Cutler sucks.

Cutler licks balls too. We need a first round QB like we need a hole in the head. Bring in a vet and stop gap for this year while we build up the OL/DL. I know it's not the sexy way to go, but who gives a f*ck.

Exactly. Whether the Jets pick #2, #3, or #4 doesn't really matter as long as the new regime does their homework. As long as that happens the Jets will get a solid player at #4 or wherever they end up drafting, QB or no QB.......
