The NFL has seen the last of Chad Pennington on the playing field.......

I wish him luck with his potential coaching career.

Well, I think it's safe to say that Chad will be rehabbing his arm a lot, as well on fixing some problems with his mechanics and possibly taking Judo and Kung Fu to learn how to fall to the ground without part of his body falling off.

Chad will end up playing for some team as a backup. Not the Jets.

gee I heard that about Bledsoe and Brady. Guess what? You never know what you have until the guy plays. Ainge outplayed Sanchez in preseason by a mile! O'connelll is very talented and has a great arm. I would never jinx Sanchez but the other guys get paid too. If they are as bad as you try to indicate, they should be cut immediately. Clemens does not belong on the Jets. I wish him well and hope he finds a team that really gives him a chance. I'd rather give AINGE a shot then waste time with Campbell soup! If we keep screwing out guys like that, it will send a message around the NFL.

We have no need or Chad. He's done. His body can not take the pounding of the NFL game anymore and he would be little more than an extra QB coach.

That said, if he wanted to do the one day contract to retire as a Jet I'd be all for it, but somehow I don't see him really wanting much to do with our FO after he was booted out of town.

I love Chad. He would be a great guy to have as a confidant to Sanchez.
I think Chad would still ahve the mindset that he could be a starter somewhere, though.

I was always pro-chadwick. I do think that ship has sailed. I do hope he goes on to coach and become successful at that.

Not after a 3rd shoulder operation. We need to forget about Chad Pennington.
