I already posted my possible theories earlier in this thread. I have no clue who the man or woman or men or women are behind this possible curtain that might not exist but sometimes I do wonder

His acceptance was strange, considering his previous admonishment of Goodell and the league.

    They just hugged it out.

Then he gave the token angry response when fans got angry.

    PR at its best.

    A game can be fixed.

A rogue ref or player can make the spread.

Games on a wide scale can not be fixed.

It's impossible with the money and the stakes involved.

    It's ridiculous.

I got Syracuse Wisconsin going to the second half, this crap is childish.

the money and stakes involved make it MORE likely to be fixed not less likely..

Goodell making $44 million a year wants to go to jail.

Billionaire owners want to go to jail.

TV execs want to go to jail.

Referees want to go to jail.

When there is billions and billions of dollars going around.

    Wow.

I'm pretty sure I already covered this in my first post in this thread.

A game cannot be fixed. But it can be affected toward the preferred result.

Your entire argument against has been that I can't name the people responsible for that.

    I agreed.

Then a bunch of other dumb shit happened, mainly because you are on "antibiotics".

Rich men don't go to jail. If they get caught, they play golf for 3-6 years.

A Grand Wizard is orchestrating wins and losses.

well i don't think anyone wants to go to jail. when kenneth lay and his Enron buddies had billions of dollars going around it too was pretty confusing that they would risk it all. or maybe it wasn't until they got caught?

Kenneth Lay, typical kingpin. Nobody was responsible but him.

    Bad comparison.

I didn't intend to compare their situations from an aspect like how they ran things, more how rich people wouldn't worry about jail.

How do you think they ran things?

    Lay wasn't a kingpin, that's obvious.

But how do you think the old ones lived?

Like fucking kings. The only difference is that they grew up as criminals, and these white collar types felt like there was no law instead of dodging it all their lives.

And when the law bit, they had cousins and uncles and brothers in positions of power to keep them looking clean even when they were as dirty as the mob.

But yeah, aside from the organized crime comparison, they're a world apart.

Games definitely aren't fixed but refs definitely favor some teams over others. I think it's bullshit that the refs can determine the outcome of some games.

The players wouldn't need to be involved.....the refs can throw a flag for basically anything and they do everyweek on questionable calls and it always effects the outcome of every game in some way.The only way its possible is if the refs aren't vetted majorly which I assume they are

I could see the mob putting pressure on refs back in the 80s but not today although it wouldn't surprise me

You got a game made of super athletes and yet the majority of time it gets decided by old slow referees and their "judgement" ...... Or slow ass kickers who don't even belong on the field
