I'm sure she made zero money that season.

How the fuck is the league fixing games?

    Who's directing it?

    How are they directing it?

How are they getting EVERY ref--professionals and upstanding citizens OUTSIDE of football--likely all extremely well off--to conspire to defraud in a multi-billion $$ business?

You spent to much time in the bunker while Charlie was filling in for you.

As much as I love trashing the Patriots, the NFL is a dirty organization. If you want to really compare the Patriots to anything, compare them to Gotti or Capone.

They did it better and got away with it longer.

It makes me sick to say it, but they are better at cheating in a dirty system.

My opinion makes a modicum of sense and can be rationally defended even if I embellish it a tad.

Your opinion is ridiculous and, well, is just ridiculous.

    Everyone is SWIMMING in money.

Why control the outcomes of games?

Why risk getting caught and destroying a multibillion $$ golden goose that keeps on giving.

    Makes a lot of sense.

Oh yes, now I'm supposed to produce names. Even though I just started it wasn't a one man operation.

Now I'm supposed to state how something was done when I didn't even say it was happening that way.

You are very passionate about something you were very casual about just an hour ago.

Why do I really need to explain to you how an affected game would benefit Vegas, and how Vegas would benefit the moneymakers?

I agree with that too, although why would the entirety of a multi billion dollar gaming enterprise go after one of its own and unless that arm was fucking over the rest of the group?

Kind of sounds like Gotti and Capone, actually.

You don't understand, Goodell sits down with the networks, they all figure out who they want to win on a weekly basis, he gets the consent of 2/3rds of the owners, then he calls in the head of all refs, sets out the script for the week, the head ref gets all his refs on the same page and they go out and massage the games to fit the script.

No one ever finds out about it because the refs are all criminals with no family or careers outside of football and the networks and the owners all agree to the script.

It's like Al Capone all over again.

    Don't be naive.

stokes it doesn't have to be a fairy tale endeavor like that. don't act like it would not be incredibly easy to fix things. everyone doesn't even have to be involved!

I don't like to be called naive by a conspiracy theorist with a fucking idiotic conspiracy.

    When does Charlie get back?

So it's just one guy and one ref?

    Fixing how many games?

Charlie, I mean Byz was saying Refs are fixing games in the way they are told.

I want to know who's making the decisions and how are these decisions being carried out.

    Is it just Roger?

    An anti competition committee?

    The networks?

    One ref?

If you are going to orchestrate seasons to have an outcome it can't just be one guy and one ref.

Here we go with this crap again.

Look Stokes, I know you're basically a drunken mess every night, but you post enough pictures of yourself in nice places for me to know that you've professionalized yourself to the point of wealth.

What this tells me is that, given your hypervigilant attempts to demonize one aspect of a multibillion dollar operation while protecting the rest of it, you're probably not going down this particular block before.

    Common.

Since Charlie I mean Byz just quit, explain to me how games on a wide scale can be fixed?

Who's the man behind the curtain?

I'm on antibiotics today so I'm sober as a judge.

Stop the childish attacks and tell the naive amongst us how it happens.

I'll tell you how the Pats deflated footballs.

maybe the enterprise would go after the one of its own that most people hate so as it appear more legitimate... distract people from the other stuff?
I mean Kraft did just accept things..
