Italians shouldnt be offended with Spaghetti Westerns...I find it to be a style of filming rather then a offensive term.

This film is more of a "Southern" as QT calls it with major influence from Sergio Leone's films. So anticipate flashbacks of a painful moment in the hero's life, epic Ennio Morricone music, revenge theme...The most badass duel in the end...Long scenes without dialogue. Over-the-top western...which floats QT's style well...But the script is so much fun to read...

I cant wait...However for the script. The link was taken down, and if anyone needs it there are ways online to get it "google search" lol...It is around

Why would you want to read the script before watching the film?

I never do...But you have to read the way Tarantino describes scenes and writes stuff on paper. Its really interesting. But yes, why spoil yourself...But the articles and details already talk about the main plot...So I said why not...

Just to be clear I was completely joking. I think in no way that it's offensive either.

Now Dago Western or Greaser Western might be a different story.

reading a script and watching a movie are completely different experiences. it is no different than watching a film adapted from a book you've read and loved -- you can enjoy a movie even if you know what is going to happen because they are completely different experiences.

He'll be getting my money. I'm long passed the point of ever "deciding" to go see a QT movie

Ennio Morricone better be doing the score. Otherwise, it's an automatic fail .

The experience is different, but not if there's a huge twist in the story.

Is it true that QT is casting "The Situation" from Jersey Shore as the main villain?

I don't see how it could possibly be a sequel. That was set in "Japan", whereas this one is set in the Deep South. Sukiyaki Western Django is a great movie, though. Interesting to me that the only one in it to speak Japanese is Tarantino himself.

No, he's really not. The plots don't even sound remotely similar.

Seriously. I don't see how anyone who has seen SWD can think this is remotely close to a remake/sequel/rehash.

It's like saying every Sergio Leone film is exactly the same because he worked in the same genre for much of his career.

Cinematography and overall style of an as-yet unmade movie.

    I understand?
