Going for the PAT was dumb. Now, try and stop the Rams, or onside kick? It's such a low-odds play now...EDIT: yup, kicked it deep. Might as well scrap kickoffs at this rate.
You have got to be kidding me - in the biggest play of the season Goff makes the 11 yard run for the first down. That's amazing.
It’s more like an excellent performance from the Rams oline, it emphasizes the importance of a good oline for everything else to work. I loved that Dallas is going home!
I honestly did it on purpose, no-one will ever believe me, and I'm not trying to cover myself. I know of brains, I'm The Typo Queen of the Universe, I always admit it, but that wasn't it. Wait what I have in store for champ in the SB III thread. It's stellar.
Rams played better defensively. Dallas's defense under performed tonight. Dak Prescott wasn't to bad, that dropped pick 6 would have made him look terrible but considering he got nothing from his run game, he played pretty well. Dallas will need to learn how to stop the run in the offseason.
Neither game was really exciting, the Cowboys had their chance when it was 23-15 and they failed to convert the 4th and 1. Hopefully tomorrow's games bring more excitement, specifically the Chargers sending themselves to Kansas City.
Herman Edwards. It was originally about Dwayne Robertson, but when Herm went to KC, he said it again about Dantrell Savage. Herm, he's a fount of limitless quotes haha. I could probably pull 90% of them out of my monkey butt on command. So somehow Tony Gonzalez recalled the quote when Herm was in KC and THEY ALL STARED. Who wouldn't? It wasn't like a joke that fell flat, they just didn't get the reference. I spit out my ice-cold Pepsi alright.
I was surprised at how well the Chiefs defense, especially on 3rd down, stopped the Colts. The Rams offensive line won the battle of the trenches and maybe will convince most Jets fans here why the Jets must improve in this area the most.
There seems to be a bias towards the Colts in the media. I have my theories on this but since they are only theories, I will avoid stating them.
Yes, I am a proud and not ashamed to be a Masshole even though I now live in the Ocean Dump. The Chargers are a better team on paper and many Massholes will not be surprised if the Pats lose. But if they win, I will take pleasure watching the real assholes in the media like Shannon Sharpe, Ladanian Tomlinson, and Stephen Ahole Smith try to talk their way out of their predictions. They will probably go to they cheated card, the true argument of a loser. To you Jets fans I will not take any pleasure, because I am a Jet fan myself. I could tell you to stop hating on the Pats, but that would be me like telling a drug addict to just say no. Besides, I saw this same type of hatred by Red Sox fans over the Yankees. Perhaps this defines the New York Boston sports reality which probably has a quantum entanglement that I can not fully understand.
The odds of the Patriots going to the AFC Championship game and winning it is around 25% or 1 out of 4. This assumes they have a 50% chance of winning each game. The NFL probability sites have the Patriots winning the AFC championship at around 22%. So it appears you have about a 75 to 80 percent chance of being correct. If the Patriots were to win the AFC Championship or even the Superbowl, it would be quite an accomplishment. So make sure to watch these games closely so you and others can report how they cheated if they defy the odds.
Ok Jets fans, the game you really want to see. Yes, the hated Cheaters versus the Chargers. As Scar Face once said, you need bad people like me. You all need the Patriots to hate! Yes, there are other NFL playoff games, but you will all be glued to this game in hopes of seeing pretty Tom Brady and the Cheaters go down for the final count. Setting all emotions aside, I think this might be the most compelling game this weekend. This game will leave both Patriot fans and haters on the edge of their seats. Or otherwise, my prediction will be dead wrong and this game will be decided by the first quarter. In any event, my prediction is assuming the point spread is still 4 points in favor of the Patriots, is to take the Chargers. But this does not answer the more compelling question, who will win the game. I simply can not make a decision on who I think should win this game, so I just flipped my penny coin and it landed tails. So the penny saids the Chargers will win. What say you Jet fans?
