He's been off for a while now. It's why I don't think Denver would win in NE. The reason Denver started focusing on the run more is because Peyton is just not his old self, whether it's because of injury, or old age catching up, or whatever. The last "Peyton Manning game" was November 23 against Miami. Since then, he has not played well. You can see it from watching but the stats also bear it out. Turnovers up, TDs down, YPA down, completion percentage down.
He's old. His arm isn't what it used to be. It's very cold out. Not a good combination. Thomas could do him a favor and catch a freakin screen pass though
Speaking of screen passes, we sure didn't see many in the early game. I kept yellin for the Packers to do some WR screens because they are very good at it. They just wouldn't do it though.
Mike Francesa could've run for that first down, and he's like 280 pounds and has had various replacements
Those are some nice gifs Soxxx. It's nice to be able to watch it over, and over. It truly was a 50/50 thing. Backyard ball, that's a catch, NFL it's not. Maybe now that it happened in a playoff game, they'll finally change that stupid rule.
denver still can't pressure Luck Francesa said today Indy had the worst OL in the NFL and they'd gladly trade OLs with the Giants yeah right
Colts are gonna win this game. Luck is just better than Peyton right now, and Denver's high priced acquisitions on D no-showed today
Lucks something, Hilton drops a 2nd a 16 pass, then Luck his the tight end. Luckhits another pass for a TD but a penalty..... then comes back and hits the touchdown. Guy doesnt care.
Same and the Colts defense doesnt appear as bad as it has been made out to be. Landry vs Gronkowski sounds fun.
