Talib likes to shade outside, and with Denver primarily playing cover one and two man under he needs to change his techniaue imo be able to jam or redirect Hilton rapidly at the LOS. Christopher Harris is a much better matchup for TY, he has superior footwork, balance and is more agile than Talib.
Are the Colts the team this season that suddenly and inexplicably catches fire in the playoffs? Shades of Baltimore a couple years ago?
You've been watching too much Jets football lately.. These games are great. I'm loving how much of a game Indy is giving Denver IN DENVER. Andrew Luck is accepting "the torch" from Manning today win or lose. Tell me Andrew Luck isn't worth tanking a season for.
Go back and read the thread. I stated multiple times that was the only game I was looking forward to. Then just like I said, it was indeed the only exciting game of that weekend. The Panthers, Seahawks game was obviously the more boring game of this weekend, but at least it was close til the end, and it was the only lopsided game of the weekend.
blah blah blah, you make no sense. You say last weeks games were pointless because none of the teams mattered, yet when Seattle and New England win next week, doesnt that mean this week didnt matter either? Then you said that the games were boring last week and that these were entertaining, who cares? we have seen weeks where the wildcard games were better. Its football.
I'm surprised the Panthers game wasn't the Saturday afternoon game. That's usually where the NFL slots the bad game. Maybe there was a rule about which game NBC got? Wild card round, Panthers/Cards was Saturday afternoon, which made sense.
He should have went to the Jets right? Yeah, we wish. I agree though. Fox is overrated. Imagine if Rex was coaching the Broncos. He would have an elite defense, and Peyton would control an elite offense. Now game management on the other hand..
So far these Colts DB's are just winning their matchups in tight man coverage, maybe the Broncos try a few bunch formations to try and turn someone loose.
Fox needs to prove something, go to New England and win. Go on the road and win, like the Giants, like Baltimore, like Green Bay......show guts/heart. Win a game no one expects you to win. Up until now he has lost the games we expected them to lose, win the games we expected them to win...... Shock me Fox. Please. For once.
Preach it. A key factor in the great QB debate has gone largely unnoticed. Brady has had one of the best coaches in NFL history his whole career. Manning has had Dungy (overrated as hell imo), and Caldwell, and now Fox. It doesn't matter who the coach is when Peyton is the QB.
And the fact that Fox who is a defensive minded coach, who has Peyton Manning, cant figure out a way to win a big game as an underdog, come on. Swear he should have went to San Fran.
