Rays with a chance to sweep the White Sox today and advance to the ALCS baby! Been waiting for this since I was an early teen! The exciting Rays with all of this young talent is one series win away from the world series! Wow!

With Garza on the mound...A pitcher who has ACE potential and talent, a dominating bullpen along with a lineup that has speed and power...I can see this Rays team crushing the White Sox here in Chicago!

Bring on the Red Sox baby...This Rays team will NOT back down

Danks is good. Today's game is a toss-up. Garza is also pretty good. Rays struggle against lefties.

Most teams struggle against lefties...Keep in mind...This is the 1st time in a LONG time that the Rays lineup is complete and healthy! Having Crawford, Longoria and Upton healthy @ the same time is HUGE for this Rays team! (Its been a long time)

Garza actually has some of the best stuff on the Rays rotation when he's pitching good...The best stuff-hands down. Sheilds and Kazmir are the Rays 1-2 punch...But Garza has the best stuff...This kid can be lights out

Danks? He's good but I can see this Rays team scoring and scoring often!

Lets not 4get that Danks just about pitched a GEM his last game against the Twins to lead them to a 1-0 win into the playoffs...He came up HUGE when the pressure was on during an elimination game, I just cant see that type of game from Danks tonight. This Rays team is young and they play relaxed...I'm looking for 4-5 runs against Danks before the 7th inning and if not, you know what? Garza has the ability to shut this Chicago team down, who needs the HR pitch

So, an identical situation to the last time he pitched, you don't think he can at least approach that performance?

You're the worst type of homer, the type that can't even give credit when it is due to the opposition.

He pitched a GEM last game, do you understand baseball? Do you know how tough it is to pitch two shut down games in a row, with the pressure of going home on the line? Do you understand that? The game is already 1-0 Rays and like I stated before...A shutout was going to be tough to get, he didn't get it.

And no...It's not an identical situation as the last time he pitched... Since when were the Twins as good as the Rays in 2008?

I cant give credit where credit is due? Give me a break... I love the game of baseball and understand Danks is a solid young pitcher but @ the same time... I couldn't see the kid shutting down the Rays....And he didnt

You never predicted anything about Danks pitching the same type of game, until the game was already under way...

Derek Lowe, Josh Beckett, Curt Schilling, Gibson, Koufax. Those are just some that came to mind right away, but there are many more. Pitchers pitching well in pressure situations isn't anything unheard of. Do YOU understand baseball? Don't bother answering, I already know you don't.

Werent you the one who said that the Rays lack the experience to make the playoffs during the dog days of the summer? (Yes you were) And you know what? The Rays actually played better than the Red Sox when it counted the most...And actually won the AL East. Give credit where credit is due. Just admit you were wrong, and maybe we can actually talk some basbeall.

How many players do the Red Sox have under the age of 27-28?

    Kazmir
    Shields
    Garza
    Jackson
    Sonnanstine
    David Price
    Howell

    Crawford
    Upton
    Longoria
    Navarro
    Perez

I can go on and on...Lets not forget that we have so many top prospects such as Becham and Davis...Pena and Iwimura are also under 31 I believe... How many young talents do the Red Sox have?

Rays=The future of the AL East. This team will be together for a LONG time and you know why? Because just about each and every young talent is signed....LONG TERM

If you post the Rays entire roster one more time I'm going to crawl through the internet and piss in your eyehole.

    Sox players 28 and under:

    Lowrie
    Pedroia
    Ellsbury
    Lester
    Beckett
    Matsuzaka
    Papelbon
    Crisp
    Masterson
    Delcarmen
    Buccholz

Under 31 they have the above plus:

    Youkilis
    Bay
    Cash

    In the minors:
    Michael Bowden
    Lars Anderson
    Daniel Bard
    Josh Reddick
    Casey Kelly
    Ryan Kalish

I'm not too worried about the future of the Red Sox. In addition to a solid core entering their prime, they have money and are a place just about every player would LOVE to go. They're going to be fine.

The Devil Rays won't be together as long as you think. They have most of their players signed to lowball deals and they'll all want them to be reworked at some point. You can only pay half of your rotation less then $1 mil for so long =(

Isn't it amazing how much better Torre looks when he has a team that can hit in the clutch?
