The Rays are a better team. I think the experience angle is very overplayed here.

I like the Rays to take this series more than I like any other team to take theirs.

Pierzynski just stood in the way of a pitch, loading the bases. That's it for Shields, who gets pulled with the bases loaded and 1 out in the 7th.

Balfour is one of the nastiest relievers in baseball. Opponents hit .143 off him

He just struck out Uribe AND Cabrera with nasty heat with the bases loaded.

Cabrera just threw a tantrum after Balfour threw one off the outside corner. WTF? It was a ball and nowhere near him.

Rays bullpen was the worst in baseball last year in terms of ERA and this year they were 5th.

Konerko took off his equipment and walked halfway to first on ball 3. He finally caught on.

Now Konerko stays alive with a lot of foul balls. Started off 0-2. Lot of fouls. Now 3-2.

Konerko finally homers on an 11 pitch at bat. Hit one extremely high down the line. Wheeler has thrown 12 pitches now without recording an out.

2 AL expansion teams won their first postseason game.

Wheeler gets Griffey to fly out and then strikes out Ramirez on another very long at bat with a ton of foul balls.

Pierzynski flies out. Rays win Game 1! 6-4 final

Wheeler threw 23 pitches to only 4 batters.

the wife-beater walked a run home in the first, but then that choker Hart grounded into a DP.

    1-0 Brewers, middle 1st.

The abuse is starting to get to Sabathia.

    Not looking so sharp today.

1-1 now. Bases loaded, 2 outs, 2nd inning. CC's pitch count is up to 45.

Victorino hits a grand slam. This series is basically over.

It is not abuse, it is his annual chokeup in October, he is the Arod of pitchers

The Brewers abused his arm, and now they're paying for it.

I bet it's been many years since a pitcher threw so many pitches in such a short stretch.

    Phillies will win this series.

His career ERA in postseason was over 7 before this game, he always chokes in October
